So as to compensate for no longer having the gold coast. Also, the darkish blue nation in Africa, wasn't that colonies of the former German nation? I'd think we'd have strong ties, due to close proximity, economic interaction, past relations, and Pan-Slavism. Based on Pan-Slavism alone, we'd be forced to rush to your defense in the case of an invasion of your territory.

So yes, I could see an alliance being cemented between our two Empires.

Excellent, my nation isn't totally Pan-Slavic, the Romanian peoples are highly regarded, however, with so many Slavic nations within the empire, their is a Slavic pride of sorts. In effect though, the empire would see your nation as an essential partner in Europe, and as such, would assist you in military endeavors and defense as well.
