Star Home, Transitory Mists, Hapes Consortium

Lying back in her throne, Queen Mother Ta'a Chume observed a hologram of the territory Hapes Consortium now had. With the automatic support of the Hapan people, Ta'a's mother, Nil'Korish, expanded past the former boundaries of the Consortium, adding to their growing power. However, Nil'Korish's reign was cut short after Ta'a secretly plotted to steal the throne, and persuaded the courts that the current Queen Mother was unjust and corrupt, resulting in the execution of her mother. Shortly after her succession to the throne of Queen Mother, Ta'a pursued the continuing expansion of Hapes into the loosely controlled worlds of the Alliance to Restore the Republic. The Confederacy of Independent Systems was deemed too powerful, considering the proximity of the Nemoidian capital of Cato Nemoidia to the western border of the Consortium. With the mass construction of the recently upgraded Hapan fleet, the land forces grew into more complex units as well. The Chume'doro, or the Hapan Royal Guard, was expanded to serve the interests of the Queen Mother, now acting as the intelligence group of the Consortium.

"Isolder!" Ta'a Chume roared to the Prince, who was currently going up the ranks of the Hapan Military. Ta'a had seen him as a perfect regent, unlike his brother, Kalen.

"Yes, Queen Mother?" Isolder said as he bowed to Ta'a as he walked over.

"I am putting you in charge of our operations on the kolto-producing world of Manaan. The Chume'doro have already sank into Alliance lines, so our takeover shall be complete in months," Ta'a announced, giving a slight smirk to her son.

"Thank you, Queen Mother," he said. "I will not disappoint."

Isolder soon departed from the Hapan capital, aboard the flagship Song of War, where he transported to the Hapan world of Zeltros, the new southern planet the Hapans recently conquered with the overthrow of the native government. There were no hostile actions portrayed, as the Zeltrons appeared to be content with being apart of the growing empire.

Ta'a then left to the main hall, where multiple comms awaited her.

Ta'a looked in astonishment as the Grand Admiral Romanov had contacted Hapes. The quickly replied back, sure to have the Admiral see what she had to say.

Hapes is weary of alliances in the perlious time. The Confederacy looms over us with their droid armies, and the splintered Alliance are a thorn in our side. The Republic is corrupt, as you say, but they do not conflict with Hapan interests. But, an alliance with the Galactic Empire may suit us well. We are willing to share trade routes along with intelligence from the other factions in the Galaxy. We will want, however, technological help for the modernization of our turbolasers, which have lacked severely since we expanded our borders. If you agree, I will await your arrival in my ship, Star Home.

Queen Mother Ta'a Chume

After finishing, she also agreed to the Republic terms of the diplomatic message. Secret Hapan observers were placed in Bastion to monitor the Republic's decisions. It was important to Ta'a that the Republic did not interfere with her plans. At this time, new plans for a Hapan destroyer was in development, where designs were closely based on Imperial Star Destroyers. Technicians worked hard on the project to advance the creation of the ship.
