Sorry, but that's frankly impossible.

The Sao Paulo's aircraft would be attacking your ships long before they reached 50 miles off-shore of Ascesion, and even if they did, 50 miles puts them smack bang in the middle of my Exocet bubble, let alone the Harpoon's. Without air-cover, that's suicide. I'll let you move them to a more reasonable distance, say, 800 miles away if you want.

1.We're not at war are we now? There's a reason I haven't bombarded the island yet.
2. 800 miles away, hell no

I've already mentioned the logistical nightmare that is this entire conflict. What I'm mentioning here is not the food resources that you've confiscated; rather, I'm mentioning that pulling missiles ashore when you've made no mention of them yet will not classify as operable defenses for quite a while. I'd give it at least a week or two, although I'm not exactly qualified to answer that.

Unless you're doing this as hidden payback to the people playing NATO nations, I don't really see how you can call out people for bullshitting logistics. Brazil's navy is in no position to approach a military base out in the middle of the Atlantic.

1. Sure, but at fifty miles you're inside the lion's den, surrounded and covered with meat steaks.
2. Well, anything more than 300 miles is fine, unless you want bombarded with missiles from all directions.

Brazilian made Exocets and Harpoons, as I said in my IC, though good point about having to set them up.

As soon as I mobilized and loaded the units aboard, the ships were stationed right off the Brazilian coast, leaving them at most about 1,000 miles west of Ascension. The island surrendered right after the aircraft overflight, so it wasn't so much a case of sneaking up as landing and taking over.

Anyone willing to back the new Ba'athist regime of General Fahd Jassem al-Freij? Remember the Assads's are deposed and this is the military running the show now. And we'll be making gains against the rebels soon.

It's not resersed engineered, Brazil already has it's own improved version of the Exocet in use.

You're right about the Exocets, but I thought Harpoons were made exclusively in the US?

The CIWS is good, but can be beaten. I'd wage good money that a swarm of Exocet's would have a fairly good hit ratio, at least above %40, seeing as the missile is desigend to be small, blend with the wavetops to get under radar and fairly fast.

True the US is equipped with the Aegis System, which includes a BMD capacity.

I was under the impression it wouldn't do too well against smaller missiles, as it was meant for to take out the bigger SSM's.
