And tried to do it better this time.

It is better, though admittedly not what I had originally intended for it to be.

It was really rather a tragedy how it all turned out. A tragedy that the Morningstar was still living. Set mused upon this while staring at the empty grave. Michael and James had just talked here before leaving. In fact, Set had had a lovely chat with them regarding his future plans and various other details.

It really was amazing to be able to wipe out memories. You could have great little evil gloats that couldn't backfire.

Ah, Lucifer. One of the few who was able to remember him, despite all odds. Or so he had liked to believe of himself. In truth, Lucifer only remembered what Set had allowed him to remember. Lucifer was merely a piece in Set's greater, much more intricate plans. Because what was a plan? Why were they needed?

Set's plan had been to have fun. And even though he didn't know it, Lucifer had been tremendously useful regarding that. And he still was, the poor oblivious sap. Set gave a laugh. It was all going to turn out just fine. He would be on top of the worlds and have his little fun while at it.

Set had no particular care regarding the fact he had betrayed his entire Pantheon in the past, or that he had misled Sobek to Atlantis, or that he had killed thousands and now would own the soul of Lewis Jameson after Jameson's death.

No, the plan would work marvellously. "Poor, poor, poor deluded Lucifer." he remarked at the grave. "You thought you had known what I was intending. No, Lucifer. As I told you before, I am not who you think I am." Then he gave a respectful nod to the grave before smiling widely behind his mask.

Everything was going to become very exciting very soon.
