I think it's an unoriginal, though well-executed spin on a traditionally evil character.

As long as it's well-executed, I don't mind it being unoriginal.

I have always found, as have many throughout the centuries, Lucifer to be a fascinating character. He's interesting. I first came to know him as Iblis, the jinn who rebelled against Allah. That shit, in my brain, was amazing. Then I came to know Lucifer as well later in life.

So while he's morally well-intentioned, I changed something in the classic stories I had been told- Iblis rebelled against God because of his contempt for humanity and Earth and belief that jinn and angels were superior.

My Lucifer rebelled because he loved them more than any character in this rp.

He's interesting because his plans, his masks, but his basic character is still "fuck them because it's fun". And that's what makes him interesting - because that's so completely alien to us that a man can be, at his core, evil and knowingly pretend to be otherwise.

But that's stupid. It only works when enough time has passed for it to be unexpected because it makes no sense.
