Ah, so Demonslayer is the only one loyal to Lewis?

Or are the other Echelons trying to protect Lewis from Demonslayer, who is planning a military coup?

Ooooor, is Celes, in fact, the daughter of Polarbeard, and true heir to the Bear Throne?

Yes.
"The Nixon campaign in 1968, and the Nixon White House after that, had two enemies: the antiwar left and black people. You understand what I'm saying? We knew we couldn't make it illegal to be either against the war or black, but by getting the public to associate the hippies with marijuana and blacks with heroin, and then criminalizing both heavily, we could disrupt those communities. We could arrest their leaders. raid their homes, break up their meetings, and vilify them night after night on the evening news. Did we know we were lying about the drugs? Of course we did."—former Nixon domestic policy chief John Ehrlichman

Everyone gathered in the auditorium. Indian stepped in front of the group, and smiled. Have you ever seen a bear smile? It's fucking terrifying.

"Morning," he announced. "I'm Headmaster Indian. Welcome to Bear High. Here, we train humans and bears to become great, and to serve the One Bear Order, the council of echelons that rule the entire Earth. With me is the new Dean of Students, Dunefield, and the janitor, Richard."

He smiled again. Many students dropped dead.

"And if you need anything, please talk with our school butler, Crowley No-Genitals. He will assist you in any way possible."

Crowley sat in the corner, shivering and crying. The Bears were very happy.

The old Elfen High had 146 IC pages.

There are currently 151 IC pages in two arcs of reboot alone.

I just realized something while at work:

Banjie apparently hurts those it deems unworthy of wielding it with severe burns. Back in Arc 1, James grabbed and wielded Banjie with no problems or hint of pain. Sure, he's a pyro, but at the time his powers were entirely passive and there's no way they could protect against a magical defense strong enough to injure Lewis. Which means...
