But the USSR, UK and USA have yet to support it. When it's resolved, Vehemia (as the UN) can tell us the results over time, or give out responsobility accordingly or whatever, e.g. he can RP the enquiries into the released nations with whichever nations he sees fit helping.

On another note, if any neutral nations want to join SABISA you can apply whenever. I'd estimate that by now we'd have the four main nations plus whatever nations they control economically or politically, and a few economic partners. I was thinking that Argentina might want a place, and to complete our Indian ocean ring I'd like to approach a Pacific nation.

Honestly, why does South Africa care about what happens in the Horn of Africa. What Britain did was legal, there was a provision in the treaty in which Britain gave Ethiopia the Ogaden that the Somali nomads would have full autonomy and that if this term was broken, Britain would take the Ogaden back. Ethiopia broke this provision and so their frankly fictiocious claim is no longer valid. Although Britain did not exercise this in real life, it did in this RP hence why there was an Anglo-Somali-Ethiopian Treaty to return the Ogaden to Somalia. Hence the UN is not needed. South Africa surely has better things to than stick its nose where its not wanted. Somalia has full control of the Ogaden and it is not going to relinquish its sovereign territory to which it has the strongest historical, political and legal claim. Ethiopia already gave away the Ogaden and it received things in return. Why waste the time of the UN in 'solving' a matter that has already been solved? The Ethiopians are quite happy under this arrangement

... Except that the Ogaden isn't the issue, it's British policy in Africa in general, i.e an erratic timetable of decolonization for the benefit of britain, not the Africa. Also, even if the Ogaden were handed over fairly, it would still have to be checked by the UN.
