I just see this as an opportunity for them to become good friends. I think right now he just respects her and sees her as a dependable agent. Standing up for Elendil is more out of his own sense of chivalry than anything else.

I should announce that Hellespont is out. I've recruited somebody else to fill in for the Nybloms, they should have an app up soon so don't be alarmed. Sorry for the continuity issues but Hellespont wasn't posting so much and I want that faction covered.

Just make sure you do it before going to war. Derria has relatively similar military styles (European) so try to stick to that. I am allowing House Kazanowski to have horse archers but I'd prefer if you stick to western european/westeros style military. That also means levies should be a large portion of the military.

Army: 3000 Heavy Cavalry (knights/mounted men-at-arms), 1000 Light Cavalry (men-at-arms), 16000 Infantry (men-at-arms/knights on foot), 4000 Archers, 1000 mounted archers (not horse archers, must dismount), 10500 Levies (more archers and infantry), 500 Engineers
Strengths: The Wallstryn's have become a wealthy house due to their status as the Royal family for 300 years and the mass trade that centers around the city of Avantine. This has given them the ability to pay the wages and equipment for many troops.

As the ruling family of Derria for 300 years, bankers across the sea in the Dellitan States are more inclined to provide the Wallstryn's with loans if need be. Though this inclination has declined due to the rule of King Telvion II and III.

The nature of the Crownlands being the capital region, combined with its fertility has given rise to a large population resulting in the capability on calling on many levies to serve in their forces. The Crownlands region has taken an enthusiasm to archery among the smallfolk, specifically the yew longbows which allows the Wallstryns to field a sizable amount of superb archers. Employment of many skilled engineers allows Wallstryn armies to build bridges, fortifications, roads, and siege weapons in haste. Allowing the armies to cross difficult terrain and rivers easily in time. Artillery (non gunpowder) is well used in field battles along with sieges.

A good amount of formidable castles dot the Crownland's landscape. As the capital region, the Crownlands has many well kept roads giving way to increased mobility within that region.

On the battlefield superior firepower in the longbowmen and artillery combined with large numbers of well disciplined heavy infantry is emphasized. While the cavalry is used to protect the flanks.

Weakness: Wallstryn armies are not accustomed to harsh conditions either in the North or South. The roads of the Crownlands make it easy to invade and the landscape difficult. Invading armies also have much to forage from being such a fertile region. While they can march their hosts as quickly as any other Derrian army, especially in the Crownlands, Wallstryn armies lack mobility for on the battlefield as less cavalry is employed. Instead preferring the use of well disciplined infantry and firepower (archers/artillery) to goad enemies into attacking. Their armies are best when given the time to set up on the battlefield. Archers, are easily routed.

All of the court members came back to Avantine after a hiatus. Several treasonous schemes were concocted before a large royal feast was held for all the court to attend. The main topic of discussion at the feast was of what to do with the Sand Raiders to the far south. It was decided upon that the Houses would call up their levies and under Prince Galvion's, heir to the throne, leadership they were able to rout the enemy. Galvion however was lost, believed by everyone but the few whom saw what happened, that he was wounded by Balthazar of House Kazanowski (in allegiance with House Thorn) and then killed by the Tribesmen of the Desert. However, in truth he was captured. A great mourning was held throughout the lands loyal to the crown. House Kazanowski promptly declared its independence (and I'm unsure) but is trying to get House Thorn to follow them. Jestrion, now heir to the throne after his older brother's "demise", is preparing to lead a large army of Loyalists to attack the separatists and bring Balthazar's head back on a pike.

I glanced over alot, but that's generally what happened.

Also, if it wasn't made COMPLETELY OBVIOUS by this point, Philippa Velun has a crush on Galvion Wallstryn (This is apparently mutual), Artanis Helyanwe has a crush on Jestrion Wallstryn, Izabel Kazanowski has a crush on Dack, and Elendil Helyanwe has a crush on Artanis Helyanwe (Yes, her brother!) and the Lorelielles... are French.

And Balthazar of Kursturm is trying to recruit Kazanowski to join the revolution. As it stands now the Houses are either mobilizing their armies or trying to manouver themselves into the either the loyalist camp, the revolutionary camp or trying to keep out of the fighting and weighing the pros and cons of each option.

BTW, will we time skip forward a week or two in a couple of days maybe?

-Wallstryn: They are the royals.
-Velun: Although their forces aren't participating. Philippa the head of the house is probably outraged at Galvion's betrayal, and is friends with the royal family.
-Helyanwe: Have been stout loyalists for a long time and will most likely continue to be.

Wavering Loyalists, will most likely change-
-Kazanowski: Will probably rebel.
-Delacroix: Same as above, once word gets out the Wallstryns are Spirit Worshipers. They are only loyal for the moment because they believe it is the most promising route for more power.

Neutral-
-Bathel: Just prefer not to get involved.

Rebels-
-Thorn: Started the whole damn war. Balthazar stabbed Galvion in the back during the battle against the southern desert barbarians.

Right now, Jestrion just rendezvoused with his army and is about to march into Kursturm. In the south, Elendil Helyanwe suspected Galvion might be alive and went looking for him. She got captured herself. Galvion is now dueling in a trial by combat to keep Elendil alive. She killed somebody when infiltrating Akmal's camp.

Finally it should be noted that the southern desert barbarians under the leadership of Akmal are controlled by me.
