Well, what is gonna happen is that the Delacroix fleet is gonna heavily siege Sturmwall once we are ready.

So probably it all depends on how it's well defended by sea.

You can blockade the port, but it will be a bloody battle, the coast is rough terrain (think northern scotland cliffsides with skyrim type storms). Your best bet would be to keep up the blockade til Jestrion brings the infantry

The point was indeed crushing all your hopes by sea, but not only at Sturmwall. I would raid more, but that's the only city on map right now.

There is Rupoy't, but that city is impregnable, treacherous to even try and enter. It's the slave port and crime capital of Derria. I don't know why it hasn't been added to the map yet, but that peninsula to the northeast is entirely cliff side, tall spires of sandstone. the harbor is built into the inlet.

Few questions. Where is Rupoy't again so I can add it? If its treacherous to try and enter why would there be a port there? Ports are suppose to be built in places conducive for ships. Is there no way to attack it by land either?

Anyways, I'm sure there some coastal towns and fishing villages that could be raided.

Originally built as a prison, now the fortress has expanded to become a city, and now a slave trading hub. It is located in the center of that hook shaped inlet on the northeast peninsula thing jutting out of Kursturm

Der Kaiser, I said 200,000 marks in my post. Let's just say that really immensely expensive.

Despite that, I'd like to clarify the currency system from here on out for future reference. All Derrian currency is produced by the Royal Mints in Avantine.

Gold Coins
Crowns: Only gold coins in circulation in Derria. Named for the various Wallstryn Kings depicted on them. Most valuable form of currency.

Silver Coins
Eagles: Named for the Wallstryn Eagle on it. Second most valuable.
Stars: Named for the Church of the Paragon Star on it. 3rd

Copper Coins
Coppers: Each Great House sigil from all of Derria is represented equally in these coins. 4th
Pennies: Lowest form of currency. Usually depicting famous knights and heroes of legend across Derria.

Not going to get into how much each one is worth. Too complicated.

To be honest that's more detailed then most currency's for role plays and I like it.

Once the exchange between Philippa and Jestrion is over then Jestrion is going to meet up with his army. Afterwards, war!

excellent, by that time Lord Balthazar shall lead his forces into battle. Where exactly is the battle to take place? is this the siege of Sturmwall?

I was thinking we do a quick set piece field battle first, Jestrion wins but its not a devastating defeat for House Thorn in any sense just a route. It would be a decisive victory however but your forces would be able to reform. Then the Thorn forces retreat to Sturmwall for a siege if that's what you want. How does that sound?

Except that I was planning to put a naval siege on Sturmwall the very moment the war began...you know, your new city seems more like the "impregnable fortress" that should be your last stand, what if I drove away people from Sturmwall and you meet them in the mid of retreat and go to that one?

Even the knights of Rohan preferred Helm to Edoras as more easy to defend.

Oh, and by the way, look at this:

Wow, farah must have a lot insight to predict exactly what is going to happen. And elendil is disguised as a desert person. Anyways, retract your post, get farah out of the area. Akmal is in a secure location that he knows well. And theres not many places to hide. Farah and his men will be dead in my next post if he doesnt leave.

Firs, I think Damak still wants Galvion to remain largely unknown. He's fine with speculation, but doesn't want any conclusive evidence put forth till Galvion returns to Derria.

Perahps Farah goes back with this "feeling" that Galvion MAY be alive, but unsure. He reports to his Lord who dismisses it out of hand and doesn't take any action on it seeing that Jestrion would be much more malleable under Delacroix influence than a returned Galvion, but Farah would still have the doubt with him?

First, I dont know how he's so sure that Akmal is lying. I can understand if he suspects duplicity but it seems like he's convinced beyond reasonable doubt. Second its something of a miracle he found the hideout in the first place.

Merodin is correct. Galvion's status is to remain largely unknown. But still Farah needs to get out. Akmal can easily have him found if he's in the area. In fact Akmal's men would probably be trailing Farah and his men right now until they are well out of the area. He's deep in unfamiliar enemy territory, cut off, and Akmal's men would be on high alert now. That makes them an easy target. Finding and killing all of them would not be too difficult for Akmal if they stick around.

Finally, the prediction Farah made was too specific and accurate given what he knows/suppose to know IC. Its at best questionable how he pulled that one out of his ass. Especially since the line of reasoning is derived from the basis that Akmal captured what looked to them like a northerner. Elendil looks like a desert person right now.

Ok, fine fine. As you could see, I tried to give a logical explanation to my ideals, as Farah would know the rules of the desert and I said before already the camp was being watched with the spyglass.

I'm gonna retract my post if it disturbs the OP, but I want to say I was not going overboard in any way. When i exaggerate I always explain all the points to find them reasonable. Farah would suspect the camp will be moved and would know laws of desert people, and also would be interested in having more proof.

On the behalf of Galvion, the Delacroix are already acting as they have a strong belief Galvion is alive. This is nothing new.

I still feel Farah's predictions are too excessive. Even then, Farah should be smart enough to get out of there. And even after that, Galvion's death is to remain a mystery. The Delacroix can have a strong feeling all they want but they shouldn't plan on him being alive.
