So probably it all depends on how it's well defended by sea.

You can blockade the port, but it will be a bloody battle, the coast is rough terrain (think northern scotland cliffsides with skyrim type storms). Your best bet would be to keep up the blockade til Jestrion brings the infantry

The point was indeed crushing all your hopes by sea, but not only at Sturmwall. I would raid more, but that's the only city on map right now.

There is Rupoy't, but that city is impregnable, treacherous to even try and enter. It's the slave port and crime capital of Derria. I don't know why it hasn't been added to the map yet, but that peninsula to the northeast is entirely cliff side, tall spires of sandstone. the harbor is built into the inlet.

Few questions. Where is Rupoy't again so I can add it? If its treacherous to try and enter why would there be a port there? Ports are suppose to be built in places conducive for ships. Is there no way to attack it by land either?
Anyways, I'm sure there some coastal towns and fishing villages that could be raided.

Damak Var wrote:Der Kaiser, I said 200,000 marks in my post. Let's just say that really immensely expensive.
Despite that, I'd like to clarify the currency system from here on out for future reference. All Derrian currency is produced by the Royal Mints in Avantine.
Gold Coins
Crowns: Only gold coins in circulation in Derria. Named for the various Wallstryn Kings depicted on them. Most valuable form of currency.
Silver Coins
Eagles: Named for the Wallstryn Eagle on it. Second most valuable.
Stars: Named for the Church of the Paragon Star on it. 3rd
Copper Coins
Coppers: Each Great House sigil from all of Derria is represented equally in these coins. 4th
Pennies: Lowest form of currency. Usually depicting famous knights and heroes of legend across Derria.
Not going to get into how much each one is worth. Too complicated.

Damak Var wrote:I was thinking we do a quick set piece field battle first, Jestrion wins but its not a devastating defeat for House Thorn in any sense just a route. It would be a decisive victory however but your forces would be able to reform. Then the Thorn forces retreat to Sturmwall for a siege if that's what you want. How does that sound?

Perahps Farah goes back with this "feeling" that Galvion MAY be alive, but unsure. He reports to his Lord who dismisses it out of hand and doesn't take any action on it seeing that Jestrion would be much more malleable under Delacroix influence than a returned Galvion, but Farah would still have the doubt with him?

so she slid in along side him, putting a pillow in between both of them. She found under his blanket that it was already quite warm from his body heat. Basking in the new found warmth, she fell into a dreamless sleep...
