Bro in the modern sense is somebody who is laid back, relaxing, likes to party, funny and is skilled at attracting women. Somebody you'd want to show up to a party with. It can also be used in a derogatory sense to describe a meathead/moron who regularly engages superfluous and facetious endeavors. In this case we will use the more positive definition. I thought it would be Balthazar for how much he likes to kick back and get high.

Is that possible or would that be to much? Its just a ideal I had and noticed someone wanted to role play as pirates or something so thought I would suggest this ideal.

Yeah, Gold's the heir, but mainly I made him just so I could have Arty free to do what he wanted without having such a responsibility (which, if I may say, turned out quite better than I expected.)

Entirely acceptable. Btw if you haven't noticed since the Crown cannot lend money right now Charlia and Loran are planning to issue lending rights to merchants. That would bring some competition to the Church as merchant bankers spring up all over Derria.

I'm not worried about since there can't be that many Merchants with enough money to do seriously loaning plus none will have the reputation of being a reliable source of loans. Merchant Bankers is like a double edge sword in some ways its taking some power out of the Crowns hands spreading the financial power and how fragile is the Economy right now? The more you mint to pay for the war the less value the money will have and in war usually its the lower and middle classes suffering the most. Wish I was a Financial Wizard but I think I can come up with a few ideals to work with.
