Basic History of Nation:
The Republic of Medonia composes of the former Mideonan Empire's colonies in the Americas. Since the founding and the settlement of the colonies in the Americas, the colonies were given a great deal of freedom with very little interference from the Empire. The Colonial Council established in these Colonies were given free reign to run the daily affairs of the Colonies under the supervision of a "Grand Vizier", who simply advised the councilors and rarely took action against the council. The office of Grand Vizier was the highest office of the land in the Mideonan Colonies in the Americas subject only to the will of the King.

The colonies were organized into the Medonia Dominion which eventually became the economic center of the Empire with the great amount of resources it controlled and a even larger amount of trade. The Economic growth caused cities to expand and the population of Medonia to explode. After the Death of King Alexandros, Prince Garoes, the nephew to the deceased King, was appointed as Grand Vizier of Medonia. The Colonial Council had never dealt with a man such as Garoes who's Charisma and Personality soon earned him the love of the people and the admiration of his rivals. Under his reign the position of Grand Vizier was greatly strengthened, as Garoes soon began creating what he believed would be his legacy the Republic of Medonia.

Under the leadership and guidance of Garoes, the dream of the Republic of Medonia was becoming a reality as the colonies were granted more and more freedom from the Empire. Medonia has always been protected and guarded by a well trained and well equipped military and navy, but Garoes didn't see this as enough. Eventually giving birth to the Medonian Military, the army and navy directly served Medonia and was no longer under the direct orders of the Empire. Afterwards Garoes saw the need to create and establish the Medonian Senate which would serve the people but remain as a more evolved form of the Colonial Council.

After a series of reforms and giving Medonia, a sense of independence the beloved and respected Garoes health began to decline. Many believed the great man was a flame of ambition that had finally burned out as he laid on his death bed, Garoes felt peace with the realization that his legacy would not die with him. Feeling his time in the world drawing to its end, he proclaimed the man many believed to be his bastard as his successor with the famous words Garoes stated,"I leave the ideal of my legacy to the man, I believe will make it into reality, I bid Tilios to be my successor."

After the death of the beloved Garoes, his successor proclaimed his death to the people and who mourned for the loss of a Great Leader. Following Garoes last instructions, Tilios declared the independence and the establishment of the Republic of Medonia, finally stating what many already believed to be true. The Senate sensing the popularity of Tilios declared him President of the Republic and even granted him the title Caesar to appease the people.

Basic Summery of Current Situation: The Republic of Medonia while a new country, has been mostly independent since the colonies founding, giving it the tools and resources needed to run and manage, a government and military. The Republic has a great deal of wealth to use in its expansion of the Republic into the rest of the America's and even sees the other powers in the Americas as Upstarts and Threats, something Titios has used to increase his powers with the people and the Senate.
