If an attack comes again the alarm will sound."Sherman got the message and replied with saying that baltimore may have 5 cannons. When the cannons arrived Captian Jacob said to the cannon men sit down and have a cup of coffee. The cook has pork and corn ready to eat. He then turned to 10 of his men. Get these 5 cannons in place. Put 1 on the left flank and put 1 more on the right flank. The 3 left over will be put behind that little dirt wall.How was your trip all the way to Baltimore did you run into any rebs? How is General Sherman's battles out west?

Cheveyo was walking down a small horse trail, through the town of Chancellorsville, he was nearing the Virginian/Maryland border, almost home free to the union. He covered his head with a hood so to disguise himself when walking through the town, not much respect was given to 'redskins' in the south. Two confederates walked over to him.
"Hey, you there! Stop!" The two men walked over towards Cheveyo, muskets in hand.
"Hey, you we're talking to you!" Cheveyo continued walking, fists clenched.
"Hey! We're talking to you, you damned fool!" The two men pushed Cheveyo with their rifles, Cheveyo immediately reacted, pulling out a scythe and hitting the first man in the neck and throwing him on the ground behind him. The other man went to bayonet Cheveyo, he grabbed the end of his rifle, using the butt of it to wack the man in the stomach before throwing the rifle to the ground and hitting the man three times in the chest with his scythe. Because he was in a wooded area, he saw no point in running, he got off of the trail to avoid suspicion and kept hiking his way towards Maryland.

A spy from the 1st Pa calvery seen him coming in the woods. He said to himself he may now were the rebs are. The spy ran over to a log and jump out in front of Cheveyo and said why are you here and are you a reb.

"I'm going north, friend, I suggest you get out of my way." Cheveyo pushed the man out of the way gently and walked around him.

Back at camp
Captian Jacob and his men got the last cannon in place. He then turned to the men that Sherman sent to bring the cannons. Do you want some coffee or meat for lunch?

After receiving numerous reports about the fortifications at Baltimore Genul issues the command that he will surround the city by land and sea to make sure these pesky bastards don't get out. Five ships from the C.S.A. Navy were sent to blockade the major port. Now the 700,000 men marched on Baltimore. The other 300,000 Genul had he sent to block any attempt of Sherman and Grant getting back in time to catch him. He sent 2,000 cavalry North to cause a ruckus in small towns. Keeping the militia busy and inciting fear within men's hearts.

2 Days Later:

Genul arrived with his 700,000 men and saw that the ships had blockaded the port. He 200,000 men to form a "U" shape around the city. They would close in. They would make these men be remembered as trapped fools. In a few hours they would be dead fools. They also ordered the firing of 30 artillery. They were only to aim for the union fortification. This city was Southern and going to stay intact.

Caption Jacob seen what happened. He said to his men that they will retreat through a small opening in the enemy's lines. We will shoot any one in our way. They all were on the hill ready to gallop to the opening. Charge! They all charged at the opening killing any one in their way. The cannons were shot by a man that was willing to be killed by the enemy.

Genul laughed! "They think they can ride through a opening clean!" He then sent some 500 cavalry galloping after them. The rebel cries grew louder and louder. Only a handful had made it out of the whole. Forming square formation was a easy task even for some rebels.

100 out of the 150 men were killed. It was a bad loss. Caption Jacob and the rest of the men were gratefull to get out alive. They rode to Harrisburg and then sent a letter to Sherman. It said

Dear sherman. The north has been invaded. The rebs attack us at Baltimore in a short battle that we lost. They are very strong. Please we need you to stop your invasion out west and come east. Me and my men will try to buy you time but you need to come east. From Caption Jacob

Then he left men to govern and police the area. He finally began to march again. This time for... Philadelphia!

When the rebs march to Philadelphia Jacob said to his men. We might not be able to fight orderly but we can bushwack. We will intercep a small rebel supply train that is stopping at a farm in P.a. to feed the horses. Let's move now. When they got to the farm they seen 10 wagons whith only a few rebs. Ready aim Fire! Jacob's men were shooting very fast. They were hiding in the bushes so the rebs could not shoot them.

The union was in shock. While the general union populous was preoccupied with other battles, Robert E. Lee had taken Washington DC and now holds Abraham Lincon hostage. Lincon is now faced a choice; surrender to the south or else. The joyous shouting of the confederate solders permeates as Lincon signs the treaty that says the confederacy is now a sovereign nation.



I'm from Georgia, so naturally the confederacy has to win.

OOC: remove or edit that, the war hasn't even started, niether side has mobilized and if it was taken that quickly then the war would be over. I don't care about your bias but with that you just ruined the whole RP

The 1st Pa Calvery stopped attacking the wagons and headed back to Gettysburg. When they got there they camped on little round top and had 20 of his men camp on big round top.. They also placed the one cannon on little round top that they got from a raid.

Jacob said to his men we will attack the rebel camp. He picked 20 men and headed off to the rebs. They hid 10 yards away. Ready aim fire! They shot at the rebs very fast.

The men quickly went in the rebs camp burning tents,wagons and killing any one in their way. Jacob and 5 men grabbed a box of lever action rifles and they all retreated back to little roundtop. This was a very good raid he said when they were back on little roundtop. We have 20 lever actions so the men with only long muskets come and get them. Throw your old guns on the ground they will be used for any one who wants to join us.

In Captian Jacobs tent

Dear General Sherman we are at the town of Getteysburg on some high ground and the reble army is below us. We only have 45 men now since we lost 100 at Baltimore and 5 on a raid. We are planning to go in town and recrute some men. We raided the rebs and got a box of lever action rifles but we need you to come east. We will try to hold off the rebs as long as we can but we need you to come and make the rebs go back to the south. The Battle at Baltimore we lost but we came out whith one cannon. Please come to help us defend Getteysburg and send those rebs back to the south.

Gettysburg, Pennsylvania 11:45 PM
When the sniper never came back Colonel Allderman decided to march to join General Genul. After a few raids on Union supply trains heading for General Sherman and his men. They started heading for Gettysburg, since the latest report from General Genul. Once they made it to the camp outside of Gettysburg, Allderman had no time to report to General Genul, so he told his men to set up their tents and go to sleep. Allderman though, stayed up thinking about his family in Charleston, his brothers, father, even his niece,but he had to serve what he promised to them. After that Allderman promised himself to win or die in this Civil War

On top of little roundtop Captian Jacob watched the reble camp fires below. He was planning a another raid on the rebles. He picked 10 men that could load a gun very fast. They were armed with 2 revolvers,1 repeting rifle and 1 sword. He ordered them to kill anyone in their way,destroy cannons and take guns and ammo.

Move move! You stay there. Ready aim fire! Bang bang bang! The union calvery men shot at the rebs very fast using repeating rifles. They threw some gernades at the rebs and then charged. They ran over to a cannon and rolled it in a pond and set everything else on fire. They all then retreated and ran back to little roundtop.
Back at camp
The raid was a great one. They lost only 2 men. Captian Jacob then said to the troops who raided the reble camp. You did a great job! You will get $5 for doing the raid.

While the Jacob was wiating for Sherman to respond to the letter he sent he and 10 other men were digging small trenches. The rest were feeding the horses. The men were trying to make as good defences for Sherman and if the rebs attacked.

Genul woke and ordered a report from the night. He saw there had been small union raids. He paid no attention. He ordered the movement to commence once again. He didn't like it here. He had also heard the Union had the high ground. So he left. Taking straight off for Philadelphia.

The calvery men were very happy! The rebs were out of Gettysburg but they were headed for Philadelphia.

Robert E. Lee was pleased. He was excited/relived that the confederates had made such good progress. Then he thought "Why do we keep fighting a war that we have already won?" Hearing about the confederate withdrawal from Gettysburg, and the relative closeness that Gettysburg is to D.C., he formulated a plan. That night, he told all of his officers and Jefferson Davis that night that he wanted revenge for the confederate soldiers that were killed by the union. That night, Robert E. Lee was going to march to D.C. like Sherman was thinking about doing in Atlanta.

Captian Jacob and his 50 calvery men started to march toward D.C. When they were entering Maryland they seen a small body of reb troops that had about 20 rebs. Captian John then seen his spy come to him and said. There is a very big army of rebs down the road. Captian John said Ok. we will attack this little body of troops. We will raid the rebs till the main army comes. Now. Lt John. You take your men 5 yards to the right. The rest stay here. Ready aim Fire! Bang bang bang! The union calvery troops were shooting very fast. Jacob took out his revolver and started shooting. Lt John and his men threw some gunpowder gernades at the rebs. The calvery men kept on shooting very fast. Jacob said to himself 20 rebs are going to stop us? Ha! Keep attacking till the big army comes!
