Personification Life - IC Part III

The darkness of the night seemed so think with the despair and grief of the millions dead, the crying of anguish.

"... Well, I decided, "Fuck the rules" just this once and did something about it. It was a real pain, me and my brothers running about the many and myriad ways between life and death, but we did it."

He removed something from his jacket. Cupped in his hands was some sort of strange light, so bright in the darkness, that seemed to emit a feeling of solace, a bright candle of joy and happiness that could never be put out.

"Every. Single. Goddamn. Soul. All of them. We saved them. None left behind. We did it. Nearly killed us from the effort, but we did it."

"Y-you... broke the rules!" Naomi breathed. She gently framed his hands with her own and peered into the light. "There's billions," she said in awe.

Naomi began to cry, unable to contain the overwhelming feelings of relief and appreciation. "Bones, I-... you and your brothers are... wonderful."

She bit her bottom lip and looked up at him. "Can we release them? Now?" she smiled.

[Monfrox]

"We're done." Lidev said. "We did all we could."

NVE saw the two bodies on the table. "Are those...?" he asked implying that Monfrox and the User had died.

"Yes.....they sacrificed themselves for us..." Lidev said. Hawk stabbed the table with her knife. "Fucking bastards." She growled.

[Dabfia]

Dab doesn't breath and walks through the gas. "Thats never gonna work." Dab said.

Meanwhile
Tony walks back into the apartment with the little girl.

[The New Velociraptor Empire]

NVE saw the two bodies on the table. "Are those...?" he asked implying that Monfrox and the User had died.

"Yes.....they sacrificed themselves for us..." Lidev said. Hawk stabbed the table with her knife. "Fucking bastards." She growled.

"We'll bring them back, but we have to use Swith's lab. We can have them back in less than half an hour. But we need a favor, Gretta and I have nowhere to sleep while our apartment is repaired from the fire damage sooo..." NVE said implying again.

[Swith Witherward]

Swith paused at the dining room doorway. "NVE! What are you doing with one of my constructs?"

[Bone Fort]

"But of course."

He opened his hands, and released the lights into the air. At first, only a few came out, but from those few came more, then from those came more, and so on, till the air was full of small balls of light, floating all across the world.

"It is when things are darkest that a light shines the brightest, and may these long night of grief become one of solace... Let all the tears of sorrow become tears of joy... And may tomorrow be a better day..."

The little balls would float back to their homes, all across the world, and miraculously become human again, having been returned from the dead and conveniently remember nothing of the afterlife.

Needless to say, this provided much solace to mourning loved ones across the globe.

[Dabfia]

"Nope i fixed her leg." Tony said and patted the little girl's head.

"They already know you but your going to introduce yourself because you look different and are more powerful?" Tony said.

[The Drone Empire]

"Oh.. dear.." Dani said, confused.

"Oh, good day NVE." Dani said, seeming confused as to what was going on.

Swith paused at the dining room doorway. "NVE! What are you doing with one of my constructs?"

"It's me Gretta. Naomi put me in this body." Gretta explained while NVE was negotiating living arrangements.

"Thank you," she hugged him tight, "For everything, thank you! And your brothers, too."

Naomi let him go and laughed. "If I didn't know better, I'd think you were grinning under that mask. Good. It's healthier for you, you know."

Swith paused at the dining room doorway. "NVE! What are you doing with one of my constructs?"

"It's me Gretta. Naomi put me in this body." Gretta explained while NVE was negotiating living arrangements.

"Good grief," Swith said. "I'll kill her. Gretta, you can't stay in that body! It's limiting. Come downstairs and I'll fetch some carpules... you need to take them like clockwork every twelve hours, no exceptions. The solution can't be replicated, either."

She rubbed her eyes. "Do you two need a place to stay?"

The dead in the room were restored, their wounds healed and their souls returned. All through the city (the entire world) this miracle took place.

The Caretaker ignored it with a sigh, he could spawn the entire Drone force once again and watch it finish the job, but that wasn't part of his assignment, nor did he want to. He walked about a rose garden, enjoying Earth's beauties, admiring it's flaws and imperfections.
