"Good luck with that," Swith said, coming up behind Bran silently. She offered a bottle of vodka to him before settling down with the group.

[Bone Fort]

Bones merely mumbled something incoherent, then seemed to clear up and become sober.

"... So what about you guys?"

[Swith Witherward]

"What about us?" Swith asked.

[The BranRiech]

"Good luck with that," Swith said, coming up behind Bran silently. She offered a bottle of vodka to him before settling down with the group.

"Oooh, thanks Swith."

Bran popped open the bottle and started to sip at the drink.

[The New Velociraptor Empire]

"Yes, right here. Want some coffee?" Fortu said from the open kitchen as he poured himself a cup.

"Please!" Monique joined him in the kitchen and accepted a cup. She noted the new kitchen. "You've redecorated," she said before taking a sip. "It's nice. When do you think we'll be leaving? My associate made it very clear that remaining in the city would be hazardous to my health. I prefer living, don't you?"

Naomi didn't know who Brasky was, but she hoped he wasn't actually on the island. He sounded too dangerous to be allowed. Mentally unstable, in fact. She settled onto the blanket next to Lidev and held Eva in her lap, seriously wishing she had thought to bring a bottle of wine or at least a beer.

Fortu poured Monique a cup. "Scarface came by with the laundry this morning." Fortu said and pointed to the neatly folded clean clothes on the coffee table. "Now we are leaving in five minutes. NVE said that once he builds the Vortex Manipulator, that he will come back in time to now and take us to a safehouse with Scarface as our bodyguard. Then he will travel slightly into the past and get Gretta's DNA and then come back here and clone her a new body. Then they will go back in time before we arrive at the safehouse to set up the safehouse. Did you get that?" Fortu explained.

[Swith Witherward]

"Oooh, thanks Swith."

Bran popped open the bottle and started to sip at the drink.

"You're welcome, Bran. I moved the bomb shelter here but, unfortunately, you won't be able to access it. I thought you wouldn't mind a bit from your private stash."

"I think he means, does anyone else have any stories? ... Preferably not involving anyone named Bill. Or Brasky."

Naomi shook her head. "You don't want to hear them, Gio. Really. None of us would," she said pointedly to Swith.

Rylli returned, wearing her own Hula skirt over her Bikini.

Rylli returned, wearing her own Hula skirt over her Bikini.

"Please, no," Naomi said to Gio and Bones, "they're sadistic, or frightening, or about crap that'll keep you up all night. We really don't nee-"

"How about you tell us about the time you battled giant spiders..." Swith smiled at Naomi.

The girl blazed red. "Shut the f*ck up, Swith," Naomi glared at her. "Rylli, tell us a story, please."

As the jaguar stops for a second Anneliese pounces out of the tree onto the tiger and stabs it repeatedly with a knife until it stops moving.

Meanwhile.
Dab stands on the water's edge as waves splash up against his boots and pants. He is standing a short distance away from the campfire, looking out into the ocean, looking at the stars and moon's reflection off the water.

Swith snorted. "Once upon a time... or it was a cold and dark night... regardless..." she cracked the seal on her bottle of vodka. "You know, nothing I tell could be nearly as interesting as half the things we've experienced during our time as residents of that building."

Monique had finished dressing as was just sweeping up a big of red hair from the bathroom floor when Future NVE dropped into the living room. She shrieked, "Fortu, run! It's another raptor!" She whacked his head with the broom, scattering lint and dust bunnies over the carpet.

"Yeah!" Bran joined in, Vodka bottle half empty. Rylli quickly took the bottle from a drunken Bran and began to drink the rest.

"Thats why when NVE explains the plan, he usually adds, 'Wibbley wobbley, timey wimey!' And that usually works." Fortu said as he packed his suitcase. Future NVE fell out of a time vortex in the living room as the Present NVE worked in the lab.

Monique had finished dressing as was just sweeping up a big of red hair from the bathroom floor when Future NVE dropped into the living room. She shrieked, "Fortu, run! It's another raptor!" She whacked his head with the broom, scattering lint and dust bunnies over the carpet.

Swith sipped her vodka. "What would you like to hear a story about?"

"Ow! I am NVE from the future! Fortu, didn't you explain the plan?" NVE said irritated. He had a device on his wrist. "Monique they are the same person from different points in time." Fortu told her. Present NVE walked out to investigate the disturbance. "Hello me!" they said in unison.
