[The Old North]

Biography: Born in America after his mother's family left Cuba to get a better opportunity she soon found her husband and moved up North were she birthed Carlos. It was here that he learned to fire a rifle on the wild life and he even learned how to use a spear. He joined the Union army on January 5 1860, upon showing good leadership qualities and his skill with rifle and bayonet he quickly rose to the rank of Sergent on December 27th 1860, only 7 days after the attack on Fort Sumter. The men below him find that he is, at times, soft but when necessary he hardens up. One day when he was younger he accidentally went to far west and stumbled upon 7 Indians that were apparently trying to cause a ruckus in Illinois, he killed 2 and beat one to death with the butt of his rifle, the other Indians fled in fear. He wasn't the same after that but at times, it haunts him and may be the cause of the "softness", perhaps as a way of atonement for what he had done.

Biography: William Stenwine was from Boston, but his family moved to the south when he was twelve years old. His family had lost their farm in a fire just before they moved. So when they got to the south and got their home they started to turn it into farm land. When the war started, he hated the idea of owning slaves. So he decided to be a spy for the Union and here he is now. He is ready to help the union fight the rebels.

Biography: As a child, Kyle was born on a plantation in Savannah, Georgia. Being born into a slave as a Native American he worked his entire childhood, malnourished and harshly treated. He witnessed several times the raping of his mother and the beating of his father, who both passed away when he was just 8 years old. By the age of 15 Kyle, the name given to him by his slavers, was fed up with his mistreatment, so he set himself to become superior to his masters. At the age of 17, Kyle came up with a plan, he was getting out of the plantation. On a cold night in August he snuck out of his quarters, and stole a scythe from the barn. The slavers and their families were discussing something by a large bonfire, all of them drunk and tired. He snuck over to the bonfire, hiding behind a bush. Once in position he jumped out, slicing the throat of the head slaver before butchering everyone there and barely avoiding the bullet of a revolver. He took no mercy on his captures, not even the slaver's children. After this was done he raided the plantation gathering all supplies he could find, he freed his fellow people and they ran off into the night. From that point on he decided that the only way for this type of behavior to stop was not by negotiations but by violent revolution. He set forth to find those who wished to enslave his people, and sought nothing but pure vengeance.

Armistead was mortally wounded the next day while leading his brigade towards the center of the Union line in Pickett's Charge. Armistead led his brigade from the front, waving his hat from the tip of his saber, and reached the stone wall at the "Angle", which served as the charge's objective.
