I'll do the character I did in one or two of those old RPs.

APP:
Character name: Celian D'arestide
Age: Unknown- appears round late 20s or early 30s(He is in fact Hugues de Payens, who found the holy grail and so did not age, but a fall from a tower and some forgotten betrayals happened by the hands of some of the other founding Templars who had drunk of the Holy Grail like him (nine including him), which made him forget a few decades ago.(Based off the game "The First Templar".) Don't worry, the holy grail only gives immunity to age, disease and poison. One can still die by any means other than that; manifold as those means may be.)
Appearance(pics are fine):
Image

Occupation: Knight-Captain
Faction(if applicable): The Order of the Knights Templar
RP example: Here.
|Now a member of Mirakai's harem|
A little bird told me, "Go, Go! Socialise! Talk to those fine people! And then, KILL EVERY LAST ONE OF THEM! Plunge your knife into their throats when they ain't lookin', and then burn 'em to the ground!"
Well that's silly, isn't it?
"Winter is coming" - Stark motto.
Syrio Forel- "What do we say to the god of death?"
Arya Stark- "Not today"
Syrio Forel- "All men are made of water, do you know this? If you pierce them, the water leaks out and they die."

Really? You know how stupid that sounds. Listen to this you said quote "He is in fact Hugues de Payens, who found the holy grail and so did not age, but a fall from a tower and some forgotten betrayals happened by the hands of some of the other founding Templars who had drunk of the Holy Grail like him (nine including him), which made him forget a few decades ago.(Based off the game "The First Templar." That is unrealistic even though there is a zombie apocolypse ahead. And there was never a holy grail that gave you life forever.

Well excuse me. In an RP like this, there would automatically be a supernatural element.
Besides, in the two previous RPs of the medieval zombie kind, I never abused that part of my character. In fact, I ended up not mentioning it, because I could never get around to him remembering his past. Unrealistic? Well, there's zombies, alternate history and an element of the more-than-natural, and I never ruined it for anyone in those other RPs. Not god-moddy, and not overpowered. Holy artefacts would be an important part of the plot, especially with unholy, walking corpses on the rampage.

This isn't fantasy, it's zombie apocalypse. And not magical zombies either; the OP says in the first post that it's the plague with a zombie VIRUS instead. If anything, it's science fiction. Artifacts would be useless except for morale.

I know the zombies ain't magical. They weren't in those other two RPs, either. And zombie apocalypse isn't a genre.
No need to go apeshit over something that hardly has any effect on the whole scheme of things, if at all.

APP:
Character name: Renault De Leon
Age: 28
Appearance(pics are fine): http://ts4.mm.bing.net/th?id=I.46379813 ... 4&c=7&rs=1
Occupation: Templar Knight, former blacksmith
Faction(if applicable): Templari, namely Franco-English
RP example: Renault rode atop his horse in triumph as the city of Acre burned around him. A moan below him drew his attention; an Arab was crawling towards him, most likely begging for help in his foreign tongue. Renault, without mercy, plunged his halberd into the back of the dying Arab, expecting him to die. It was when the black blood oozed from the Arab's mouth, and his unearthly moans only became louder that Renault realized this was not an average soldier of Saladin. A swift decapitation with the Halberd fixed this problem, but his blood ran cold as it dawned upon him that the moans grew louder and more plentiful. Acre was now literally a city of the dead.
