Pokemon: Fusion World

[Libyan Empire]

Here is the world of Fusion, A fictional Pokemon world located 600 miles off the Kanto coast.
Here are the starter pokemon by type (You can only pick 1):

Even though this is in development, I will tell you the cities.

Brock Town (Based on Twinleaf Town, The place where you start)
Arsenal City (Based on Sandgem Town, The place with the first Pokemart and Pokemon Center)

one problem I already have with this is the starters, I'm guessing your only using Gen 1 Pokemon but still have Beedrill a final stage Pokemon as a starter, and Eevee for the normal types when he doesn't evolve into a normal type seems a bit weird, also the number of evolutions and how you evolve the starter Pokemon varies too greatly, Unfortunately (and don't get me wrong here I like Gen 1) there were so many problems and imbalances with the Gen 1 Pokedex, especially as Gen 1 had different type effectiveness to the rest of the games, that it would be best to at least include Jhoto (Gen 2) Pokemon as well. For example a possible starter list with Gen 2 Pokemon could be thus

Bug: Spinark
Dark: Houndour
Dragon: Dratini
Electric: Voltorb
Fighting: Mankey
Flying: Spearow
Fire: Magby
Ghost: Gastly
Grass: Paras
Ground: Sandshrew
Ice: Swinub
Normal: Sentret
Poison: Ekans
Psychic: Natu
Rock: Rhyhorn
Steel: Magnemite
Water: Krabby

also maybe not having an Umbreon on the second route even as underlevelled as it is.

Why no pokemon past gen 1 (Or gen 2, if you accept Jolleus's idea)? It would make sense to have some pokemon from later gens, especially gen 5, for obvious reasons...

actually Gen 4 and 5 were the best 2 generations of the whole of the Pokemon franchise, not only the most popular but also the fairest yet in terms of the metagame and playing it online, along with the huge advances in game not only with the plot but also with the general graphic design and sprite animations.

actually Gen 4 and 5 were the best 2 generations of the whole of the Pokemon franchise, not only the most popular but also the fairest yet in terms of the metagame and playing it online, along with the huge advances in game not only with the plot but also with the general graphic design and sprite animations.

HeartGold and SoulSilver were great and GSC deserved remakes, but Pearl and Diamond (haven't played Platinum) sucked bad. I'm currently playing Black 2 and the sprite's I give you (also, why did it take this long [meaning gen 5] for TM's to become reusable? Finally!), but the new experience system is stupid, and the change was unnecessary. The single player also is even easier than before, there's no grind required. Can't speak for online play, since I haven't really done that much of it. Overall Black 2 feels much better than Pearl gameplaywise, but it doesn't change the fact that most gen 4 and gen 5 pokemons are just plain ridicilous.
Also, I atleast don't think graphics are that important. They don't hinder me either though, so I don't really care if they are 2D or 3D.

As I said, "discussing" might have been an overstatement, but the point still stands. There was debate on which generation(s) should be included, and I gave my opinion that 4 and 5 should not be included because I think they suck.
