Oh yeah, if you roll equal to your LD you pass the test and don't run.

Ok so 7, about an average roll.
Can you imagine a world without hypothetical situtations?

Mhm. Although, a surprising 2/3 of the time you'll pass.

Apologies to TBA for not getting our game sorted out.

Ok 6, also not 2/3s of the time getting a 7 is 1 in 6, 2-6 and 8-12 is the same odds as either so pretty sure not 2/3rds

Well, I can guess how the roll will go...

Ah, sorry. Each is 2.5/6 (I know that's a horrible way of expressing it). Adding the 1/6 gives 3.5/6 so 7/12 chance to succeed. Not sure where the 2/3 was from.

To cast a psychic power, you must first pass a leadership check. If failed, the power does nothing. If you roll 2 or 12 (only for a psychic Ld check), you take an immediate wound with no armour or cover save as daemons eat you. On a pass, including a 2, the power works as normal even if the librarian dies as a result. This librarian has three powers - force weapon, might of the ancients and smite - and may use one a turn.

The force weapon is "cast" when the librarian successfully inflics a wound in close combat, after any saves. It instantly slays the target. For most purposes, this is useless as the target will be dead anyway. It only affects multiple-wound opponents like the warboss, and is currently of no use to you.

Might of the ancients is cast before making close combat attacks. It adds 2 to your strength, and gives a pretty nifty bonus against vehicles. However, it is currently useless.

Smite acts as a ranged attack at R12" S4 AP2 Assault 4. This is the power I suggest you use.

and the Librarian has an LD of 10... *hopes for a 12 or atleast a 2*

1 in 18 chance

Yeah, the librarian is one of the best psykers. Arguably, primaris psykers are actually better, and farseers are obviously better, along with possible zoanthropes.

naah use the Giant in the Playground, then we actually know what you rolled. also it doesn't matter what sort of chaos army you have really, so long as you play as one.

Okay, but you'll need to find a willing opponent for a 5 ed chaos army. You can roll dice for yourself, of course, but you'll need to use GitP so people can see them.

I will :P, I would be eaten alive and hardly know how to play but why not? Also I think you should try and make a fun team game where we are devided in half and have 2000 point armies :P, can you imagine how big that map would have to be? It would be epic.
