If an enemy can't be sniped due to cover, and is in an house where CQC combat is difficult and risky, I think that nading him is the only option.

So, here's my nation application:

Nation name: Absolutia
Major cities: Argentum (Capital), Larkville, Riverport, Knobham
X-COM opinion: Very accepting, seeing as they are fighting the aliens
Alien opinion: Refuse to use alien technology at least before very extensive testing, being suspective of there being something bad in them built by the aliens as a trap.

And my agent application:

Name: Simo Kalajoki
Code Name (optional): 'White Kill'
Nationality: Finnish
Specialization: Sniper
Psi: Below Average

Bio: Has a long history in the Finnish Army, being the rank of Colonel. Is comfortable using assault rifles and shotguns, but prefers to use snipers. Was sent to afganistan in 2001, where he experienced an explosion of a makeshift bomb close to him. He has never been able to hear with his left ear ever since.

He didn't quit the Army then, but he continued to train new soldiers. Eventually, he was contacted by a very secretive organisation, asking if he wanted to accept a high-paying, high-action job. He accepted.

Fully accepted, both nation and app.

Oh, and Almost forgot to tell this: X-COM agents are not allowed to retire due to the confidential info they came in contact...but they get payed 30.000 NS$ monthly, tax free.

So the pay is good.

Nice, can you be a little more descriptive however? Like alien technology and the idea of an international group landing on your soil and doing military operations.

Better...except that as I stated there is nothing your military can do. But why not, you said helping, not that you are gonna intervene. Are you sure you don't want to roll an agent too?

Meh, waiting for this archetype...well, accepted, but the nick is gonna be Ghost. I have to pronunciate it in the IC, and I don't think Bradford can make the 0.

You are gonna be in reserves, probably in action soon since how we lose people fast. And Kong hasn't reapplied? A shame, I invited him....

And I'm sorry people, you are deciding the roles, not me.

The problem is that most imagine snipers as some cool badass but actually you are just sitting behind in the back and wait for an enemy to leave its cover. ^^

be a Heavy, their way better anyway (especially on TF2) you just go in all guns blazing, (I want either some sort of cannon like the Heavy in TF2 has or a rocket launcher)

Unfortunately not in XCOM: Snipers have godly aim, which is great, but they go down in a spiff and in close range they suck. Chryssalid favorite meal.

Fortunately, Bok TG'ed me to be an Heavy.

Heavy will be unable to hit shit except in close range later. Their big deal is to have a lot of HP. I actually rolled a dice for Kong, being an Heavy...but the results were definitive.

Why not posting a map at the beginning of each mission hence, we all get a better understanding of the surroundings. It surely don't need to contain every single piece of cover just enough that we get at least a rough grasp of the surroundings and maybe it will help to find fixed points to describe the current location of the agent.

Sorry, I expressed myself wrong. I can't draw to save my life, so I make only notes of the place and the alien position. I don't draw an actual map, since it would be an horrible mess. Also, XCOM is sight too, if I just post a map with everything except the alien position it would be still not really in the spirit of things.

If someone can really draw well, and has the patience to do that, I could think of another Co-op. As for the one right now, I'm undecided between 3-4: I would totally go for Len, but again he has no clue on the actual XCOM game experience, and that's the fundamental requisite.

Also, I loved the tactic and I'm a little tired of this mission: I think we did enough and I don't want to be a jerk and pulling you in the UFO doors block (When all the aliens are waiting for you to open the UFO door to kill you, and you are FORCED to do that to complete the mission), so I'm giving Delvin the final kill and pack this up.

For those who have lost it, this is the HQ link: viewtopic.php?f=31&t=205404&start=25
