then I've got 6 million fighting men, and 25 regions (new regions are East Nigeria, West Nigeria, North Cameroon, South Cameroon, Gabon) thereby on average 240,000 fighting men per region.

I'm just going to keep a medium sized military that is a professional force, I don't think having large numbers will win any battles or wars if they are poorly armed and trained they would get slaughtered.

All 6 million professional? Not to cause problems but I kinda doubt that I don't think anyone is taking in consideration that it takes time and money to train troops to be professional which is expensive and time consuming, if everyone is moving into regions and having newly conquered people getting guns and told now you fight in my army then that's a recipe for disaster.

Men aren't just born with the knowledge to properly march and fire weapons, what I'm trying to say is I don't want the rp turning into who has the largest military numbers dominates because they can number spam everyone else.

I know how military stuff works, yes I know how much it costs and stuff, but my soldiers also act in a role similar to Police and guards for people.
they're all at least militia with training and uniforms, and at least half of them are full professionals (1 million of them are 'the elite' the troops from Italy and Sicily are better trained etc. than most of them from Africa, and the presence of the Knights of St John (and the fact that they pretty much control the military in the two regions they control) means that Tunisian and Maltese soldiers are elite professionals. I'm not trying to make it into a numbers thing, I couldn't pull all 6 million men into one fighting force cos 720,000 of them are too far away (the soldiers in Denmark, Cuba and Singapore) whilst at least 1 million men would be held back in Africa to patrol and police the region, so that's almost 2 million men not fighting, meaning the max I'd ever field would be 4 million unless I was on the defensive.

Well I have a fleet of about 30 ships for every Region with a sea border, and they are primarily docked at one harbour in that region, and my army is split into regions and they are spread throughout the region and can either be called together by the Governor of the region to just operate inside said region or if a wider summoning has been called then they will join with multiple region's armies to create the Empires army, and then the highest ranking officer (and if there is a tie how long they have served is bought into account (older is better than younger)) commands the overall army.

Been working on that for the fleet, so i have a total fleet of 540 ships(18 regions with 30 ships each). however 30 are in Singapore, 30 are in Cuba, 30 are in Denmark (brings it down to 450 ships), then 30 (from North Sudan) prowl the Red Sea area, and 120 (from East and West Nigeria, South Cameroon, Gabon and Congo) are on the West African coast. leaving about 300 ready to sail in the med. (actually only about 285, as half the Egyptian fleet helps North Sudan with the Red Sea, and the whole of the Egyptian fleet's primary focus now is the Suez Canal.)
