Naomi was too physically weak to lift the large bits of broken furniture, so she focused on dragging broken chairs across the floor and hefting them into the portal.

"Bran, you okay?" she dropped a broken cushion and hurried to his side.

"that's going to put a dent in my daily routine . . ." He muttered angrily.
