Naomi only burnt the first two bits of toast. She had a handle on it by the third, and set a plate of French toast in front of the soldier. She went back to the kitchen and cleaned up her mess... a lot of damage for just a little bit of product.

Like I said before," She pointed to her right eye. It had changed. Her other eye still looked like the blue Moonlight artifact with the Snowflake in the middle of the pupil. "Marked by the Zone." She finished.

Swith opened a portal at the last possible moment. Obscured and only millimeters inside was a solid titanium wall. The girl ran into it at full speed. "Well, if it doesn't knock her out, at least the boys have a chance to catch up," Swith mused before closing the portal again.

Giovenith stepped back a bit and whimpered sad sounds, not liking the sensed change in the Zone. Asmodeus did not comfort her, but he did tilt his head curiously.

"Fancy," he commented.

"sniff..." Giovenith covered her eyes, as if to hide.
