I tend to be active multiple times a day, specifically in the evenings CST. I travel for work and family often, so my normally very active schedule can be interspersed with boughts of inactivity if I'm up to something more important than the internet and personal pleasure.

What are you a fan of?: This is a really long list. I, uh... I'm a fan of pretty much everything? I guess? The things I'm not a fan of, I haven't heard of, in large measure. Hellsing comes to mind, as do the SCP Foundation, Eden of the East, and other stuff. Note that I'm unlikely to join video game-based RPs.
How's your schedule/activity?: I'm able to get on pretty much every day, with some limited exceptions. I do sometimes disappear for a week or two due to various RL circumstances, but I do my best to notify you before I do so.

Additional Information: I think character development and interactions are always more important than realism... or anything else, for that matter. As OP, I can be pretty strict sometimes.

Why do you RP?: It's fun. I need an escape that involves other people. I find other worlds fascinating and compelling.
What are you a fan of?: (if I find any spoilers, someone's gonna die) Halo, The Hunger Games, Soul Eater, Ender's game, Doctor Who, Harry Potter, a little bit of Percy Jackson (read most of the books, like the premise a lot.)...that's all I can think of off the top of my head that would be fun to RP. 
How's your schedule/activity?: busy sometimes, but I can usually reply quickly. May need a TG. Eastern (us, Indianapolis (sometimes New York) as usually listed in time zone things) time. 
Additional Information: I don't play in any sports, other than marching band. I'm a saxophonist. I like complicated things made of lots of small pieces. Alternate realities fascinate me infinitely. Also, before inviting me to anything, give me some sort of overview with a bit of detail of the subject. I'm not well versed in a lot of things. Also, I'll be willing to do just about anything if you're convincing enough.

Additional Information: I'm mainly interested in nation-based RPs, in particular, those set in alternate worlds. A fantasy RP would definitely be something I look forward to playing. But, I'm not closed to character RPs, and if I see one that's interesting, I might join it.

Tech: Open to anything. Eireann Fae is technically PT/Fantasy in an MT world, but I have a little faction (Fae Omega, link to some slightly dated details in sig) that's open to any tech level.
RP Perspective: Prefer Character RPs (as Eireann Fae) or Faction (with Fae Omega). Not so big on national campaigns.
Why do you RP?: Character development and storytelling.
What are you a fan of?: High Fantasy (Eireann Fae is mostly populated by Faeries, but I can omit them for realistic RPs), Science Fiction, nature, most music, freedom.
How's your schedule/activity?: Unfortunately rather limited. I could probably squeeze in a post or two a week, but I do aim for quality over quantity.

Additional Information: I prefer to play with people that are able to properly utilise the English language. I'm not usually rude enough to point out the shortcomings of other players in RPs I do get involved with, but I do cringe a lot at poorly-written posts. Like I said, quality over quantity.

RP Samples: I'm most active in the General Assembly, particularly in the Strangers' Bar. I've also done WorldVision a few times, most recently WV25^[MATURE]. Most of the RPs I attempt are unfortunately short-lived (hence my entry here), but a few favourites include:

• Salem 1692 (Based on the witch hunts, only witches were real in this RP)
• Steel Skies (A steampunk RP)
• A Trade of Nature and Science (A diplomatic RP - sadly I lost Internet for a while, cutting it short. Sorry, New Amerik)

Also, Fae Omega was almost pure RP posts - not just in WorldVision, but in a few F[an]T campaigns as well. My favourites were:

• The Choice's [sic] We All Take
• The Horror of Arcadia Station (Again, I lost Internet that January)
• Life After Death (Another victim of my lost internet -_-)

So yeah, if you're a quality writer that doesn't mind a slow poster, hit me up. I rather prefer threads that take a week to fill up a page, but I'd like to see such threads go on for months, rather than a few days or a couple of weeks. I have trouble getting involved in such threads (I don't like jumping in late, so only browse threads with a page or two of signups/RP done and it's hard to judge their longevity), so thought I'd seek the help of the professionals.

See the links under the 'Eireann Fae' spoiler in my sig for more information on the primary mythos of Eireann Fae and Fae Omega, but I don't restrict myself to that universe. 'Salem' and 'Skies' were both character RPs that didn't use anyone or anything from Eireann Fae (and there were several other smaller ones as well, I just didn't feel like going through 20+ pages of my post history for a full list).

What are you a fan of?: This is a tough one. Favorite books are probably the Dune , Ender's Game, and Lord of the Rings series. I enjoy playing strategy games (Rome Total War, Civilization, Europa Universalis, etc.), the Fallout series, and a tabletop game by the name of Heroscape. This is all off the top of my head, this list would be much longer if I could think of more.

What are you a fan of?: Lewis Carroll, Tolkien, Lovecraft, Battletech, 40K, White Wolf system, Traveller/Mega Traveller, Millennium's End, Marvel, the various -punk flavors (Steam/Diesel/Cyber etc - my nation is, in part, biopunk), a multitude of historical eras, aviation, military history, anime (too many to list) ... and so much more.

Additional Information: Seriously, what matters to me is that the RP is put together well, has substance, has balance between characters, and stays fresh. I don't limit myself to specif genre. If a game looks good, I'll take the time to learn the genre in order to play it properly. I won't run a genre-based RP unless my intent is to spoof the genre; I'd rather fashion a new world/setting than adhere to codex, guides, canon, fanfic, etc. I'm easy-going and friendly.
