Divergences (OOC, Interest)

Postby Photana » Sun Oct 07, 2012 11:21 am

The Year is 4000 BC. In our world, Humanity is settling into farming and first starting to write. But here, this is not true. In this diverged world, there are three intelligent species settling into civilization. These are not Primates, or even Mammals. They are the Raptors. In this world, the Meteor that ended the Dinosaur age did not hit the earth. Without the Meteor, most of the larger Dinosaur species were wiped out by the Ice Ages, but three Non-Avian Raptors survived, due mostly to their coats of downy feathers. After the Ice Ages, Mammalian Mega-Fauna evolved to replace the Dinosaurs. These Mega-Fauna inspired the development of larger brains in these species, as well as a more upright stance. After the last Ice Age, the three Raptor species had finished their development. They are the Velociraptor, Troodon, and Utahraptor. Each has claimed a large portion of the globe, with Utahraptors dominating the Americas, Troodons in Europe, North Africa, and West Africa, and Velociraptors in Asia, East Africa, and South Africa.
In this Diverged world, these three species co-exist, but only time will tell if this will continue.

No God-modding
Population and resources are finite. You will run out of resources.
Stay realistic with resources. There are no Horses in Australia. I will, however, allow Horses and Camels to be used in the Americas. That is one of the Divergences.
Beginning Territory should be small, not the size of the US. More like the size of Bosnia.

Name:
Species:
Population: (Stay realistic.)
Territory claimed: (Map please.)
Governing system: (Describe it.)
Leader name: (If you have one.)
Settled or Nomadic ?
(ONLY IF NOMADIC) Hunter-Gatherer or Herder?
Resources: (Remember, you are just out of the Stone Age.)
Anything else?
AH, PMT, some FT.

Your test scores indicate that you are an open-minded ultra-progressive; this is the political profile one might associate with a journalist. It appears that you are skeptical towards religion, and have a generally optimistic attitude towards humanity in general.
Your attitudes towards economics appear neither committedly capitalist nor socialist, and combined with your social attitudes this creates the picture of someone who would generally be described as a liberal.
To round out the picture you appear to be, political preference aside, a considerate idealistic egalitarian with many strong convictions.
