In 1587 the original Roanoke colonists make it to Chesapeake Bay.Now that a permanent colony is set up in Virginia the british want to make a colony in North Carolina.You will be a colonist that will be part of this colony in 1590.

When the ship arrived a tall man with much facial hair went ashore. When he got to shore he began to look at an area to see what he could plant and how much. After looking at the surface area he put his fingers into the soil and picked up a clump looking it over to see coloration and smelling it. "Soil good for large crop. No?"He said in a thick german accent looking around to see who else he was with.

"That's good because we are low on food."Bailey replies to Vicktor."I'm Bailey Sawyer and you are?".Just then the captian yells"A-J Thal,Jacob Edwards,William O'Sullivan,Craig McClendon,Vicktor Weilter,and Marina Krijger are all to enter the first boat to land!"

A-J leaves to shore with his properties and when he sets foot on land he quickly began cutting some wood for his house

"Who do think I am? Only Manly name on list. Ya?"Vicktor said with a laugh."I go find natives to discuss Farming. Maybe get some seeds to."Vicktor then began to walk the perimeter of the area to see if there were any Native nearby.

"This is fair soil. It will grow tobacco and potatoes just fine and maybe even cotton." said William to Viktor. He grabbed all his equipment and walked off the beach."I will make my cart tommorow and claim my own land."

Vicktor returned from the natives with a bag of corn kernels, which he traded some of his clothes for. He picked up about 12 fallen tree limbs and walked in a rectangular formation putting them into the ground. He used them to signify a perimeter that would be his farm. It was about 100 acres, including the area he would build his home. When he finished this task it was about 4:00 PM.

William went into at the forest at 12am and came back at 7pm. He went into the forest and met the cheif they exchanged stories and ideas. Only the cheif knew the tongue of the white-man. His name was Avanaco or lean bear. Avanaco introduced William to the other Indians. William and Avanaco became good friends.
When William got back he explained the indians and maize to the others. He marked his territory with 3 notches in the trees. All in all it was 1 square mile or 640 acres. He got done at 9pm with a little light left. He hastily made a fire and a lean-to. He then fell asleep thinking about the indians and this great land.

The next day William plowed his land and planted potatoes. He then started building his blacksmith shop. He worked for 18 hours and was tired and slept. The next day he plowed more land and planted corn and tobacoo. He then finished his blacksmith shop. He than posted a sign in town saying:

A-J after cutting wood almost non-stop he began setting his terain off. it was 1 square kilometer. After that he builded a wall around his terain.
