The Walking Plague: (Sign ups and OOC, Open)

Hello everyone, this is a nation-based zombie apocalypse role play. The plague will start in China, however that is basically your only limitation, feel free to take the infection in your nation where you want, within reason. I don't want to see nations with no zombies. If I see you avoiding the plague, your nation's government will be given a healthy dose of undeath.

I have an idea, it can be a corporation making a disese to make money selling a cure(which they fail to make).

If you're planning for the plague to start in China, it could have something to do with the opening of Qin Shi Huang, The First Emperor of China's tomb. For many years after its discovery the Chinese refused to excavate or open up the tomb for fear of a purported curse.

I like it, right. So it starts in China after the opening of the first Chinese king's tomb, and for a while festers quietly among the masses, and spreads. That'll be the start for it. Shall I put an app up?

Yeah, we're using that, but I don't think it'll be paranormal, maybe if it's demanded by the majority it could be but otherwise it wont. I prefer the infection style undead.

So, an ancient virus is accidentally released following the opening of Qin Shi Huang's tomb. The virus activates dormant genes in human DNA which causes mutation to 'infected' forms?

I was thinking something more zombie-ish, not mutation. I dunno, maybe the ancient king or his guard or someone steps out of the tomb and takes a chomp out of an archaeologist, who goes home and spreads it.

Zombies sounds more fun. We could do it so that grave robbers, er archaeologists, open his grave and the bacteria from it cause them to become zombies who start infecting the population.

I think this sounds very interesting. There are far too many zombie roleplays, but very few of those have the players commanding a whole nation.

I also like the idea of the tomb zombies. It sounds very unique.

I'm sorry to dissapoint you, but my thought on it wasn't tomb zombies, but merely a zombified guard/servant/king who pops out and has a hearty chomp out of some poor soul, starting the infection. Of course, if it's really important, I would take a look at tomb zombies.
