OP Ramblings
So, I have been in a few RPs with the Supernatural/science fiction/historical fiction genre before and I am even writing a novel that can fit into those genres. This is a kind of side project of mine as I am ever creating and finishing new side projects; NS also always seems to supply me with phenomenal RPers too who help flesh out these side projects extremely well. Anyways, I have never created one that is really my own that lasted or was fullfilled in any way. I hope to accomplish this with this RP titled,"Black & White." This RP will have a general over-arching plot that helps guide people but still allowing tremendous freedom RP-wise.

Notes that may change RP and can be Submitted to me, THE OP. I will be adding and deleting these pending if I approve them either by myself or with popular census.

On the name: I do accept name changes to the RP, Black & White I thought was pretty cool, basic yet carries itself. I was also thinking Darker than Black but its one of my favorite animes so I would hate to steal that title. Anyways thats that.
Overview
Black & White is set in 2009, I can tell you it starts exactly on May 5th, 2009 AD (or CE pending on preference). It is set in the post-modern technological world we do in real life call home. It is set globally and the characters (I.E. YOU!) can travel around, I know I will. Basically what happens is that in the 1950's research is carried out in Area 51 and Tunguska Russia by the US and Russians respectively. With the research yielding the creation of a new Element called Element 555 or 3X5 in short form by the scientists. However in the US the research bogs down in the 60s and finally shut down on January 15th, 1978. In Russia scientists still continue the research and amidst the falling Soviet Union produce the first Novo Homo Sapiens or New Humans as they are labeled. However before the scientists could finalize their findings the project ends in catastrophe as an unfortunate explosion (MYSTERY!) results in all th works destruction. Including the deaths of all the New Humans sadly. Fast forward to 1992 and the first reported findings of Humans with,"Extraodinary gifts," appear in the US, Russia, Germany, Japan, China and various other countries. They are all pretty much hired, kidnapped, on the run or lone wolfing it as their abilities are sought after for various, often unsavory reasons.

By extraodinary gifts I mean abilities like freezing substances, causing electrical shortages at will, camoflage and so forth. Also this RP is not for the whimsical, I need dedicated Rpers who love what they do! Again for those interested feel free to join and submit ideas and the what not.

Background: Not much is known about his early life but that he was born in the 90s in Europe. He was quickly identified to be a New Human type but grabbed by the NHFS before the German government could claim him and erase his original records, then replace him. He has been involved in many covert operations for the NHFS and known as Soul Reaper by other Agencies. He is also considered a Hyper-Lethal target by other agencies and responsible for a few dozen deaths of New Human and Regular Human agents from both the USA and Russian Agencies to name two. He typically wears all black and has night black hair and cold grey eyes. He is also unnaturally pale yet handsome and can pass off as a well to do young man or older teenager if need be. He is trained in several martial arts and givne advanced comabt, espionage, communications, driving and even piloting training for his missions.

*NHFS=Branded a terrorist criminal organization utilizing New Humans and Regular Humans in the name of achieving equality and global peace.

Background : Unknown date of birth, Daniel lived long subjugated by his own powers and constantly ravaging the street at night like a rabid beast. Called 'Terror of Death' by the urban legends, he had been captured in these years by USA, Russia, China and Germany: all four organization failed to contain his powers due to their mistakes (like leaving him into darkness and such), and due to his constant escapes he has been marked as 'too dangerous to be alive'.
In the 1990, Daniel got under a sort of 'Maturity', unknown even to him, and managed to assume a more human form to lose the various agencies and completely control his powers. In the 1998, he opened at Naples the MIA, a paranormal investigation agency with the secret objective to unify people like him and provide them a safe haven.

The MIA standards are to assure the new humans a normal life in the society, or at least facilitate their entrance in the status quo in the less painful way possible.
They are hostile to the NHFS because their terroristic behavior, making people assume New Humans are evil, warmonger or power hungry. They are hostile to AURORA due to their killing of New Humans.

Finally, the constant changes to his body have left his mind somewhat ...addled.

Background: Most of his early life is not known, but it is believed that he is Canadian, and he was an actor. Rumors of his existence started when a man with no face, dubbed Blankman, was spotted across the world. Theories spread, ranging from Slenderman to aliens, but only the NHFS theorized that Blankman was a New Human. They brought him in, and he told some of his story. His face had one day started to "fade", and as he worried about it, his face had disappeared completely. Using this as a basis, the NHFS theorized that his fading face was simply a side effect of a complete mental control of his entire body. However, later, Blankman started questioning the NHFS' ethics and goals, deciding to leave. The fact that the NHFS threatened him to stay increased his suspicions even more, and used his powers to escape and elude the NHFS. In 2006, he found the MIA, and has been a member ever since. He has opened up enough to them that he has revealed his first name, Jack, although it too may be an alias. His long years wandering the wilderness without his original face has caused him to forget it, and he either appears as someone else, or as his Blankman form, never his original body.

I won't get an IC in the works till maybe tomorrow as I feel that we need to get a good IC intro going to get us involved and get things rolling. Rather than I do something and someones stuck writing filler paragraphs until something happens they can respond too. Also if you have an affiliation with the CIA or FSP or whatever I leave you largely in control of those agencies and aspects. I may do things to kind of,"Keep things on track," but I will also be focusing on my character, Schwarz or simply,"Black." I may call him Black as well simply for ease of the reader.

A run in with a New Human, who killed the girl he was in love with led Shade to declare himself an enemy of all New Humans and began a rampage sparked by his vendetta.(Note that as this RP goes on, Shade will get more recollections of his life prior to being frozen.)

Background: Born in England Tyson displayed signs of being a new human from a relatively early age, when he first went to school he set fire to a bully and flew to the top of the school hall.  Random bursts of power became less and less common as he grew and he when he left home he became a traveling freak for several years before becoming a flame for hire.

Drawback: Intense use can cause him severe pain, burning of skin or even death
Affiliation: AURORA (European Union)
Background: He is the only son, and main test subject of the Hungarian scientist Sofia Kiraly. He spent most of his childhood in the Tunguska facility, where his mother was one of the lead researchers. While he was given priviledged treatment for being a scientist's son, Silvester was still a victim of the New Human Project's most painful and unethical experiments with Element 555. The experience left him with permanent scars, both physical and mental.

After the destruction of the Tunguska Facility, during which his mother died, Silvester walked his way across Russia and into Europe, trying desperately to escape the Russian government while resorting to stealing and murder to sustain himself.

Living on the run for years, he was eventually captured by a secret agency of the European Union called AURORA, who hired him as their first New Human agent, tasking him with the capture or killing of other New Humans. Still affected by the memories of his broken childhood, Silvester became the most ruthless, and sometimes downright vicious, of AURORA's agents, murdering dozens of New Humans in cold blood and fighting the European Union's both secret and public wars. His actions have earned him a great deal of fame in the world of New Humans, becoming something of a boogeyman to most.

Name of Person: The Ghost, El Diablo, Ďábel, Djalli, daemon, cin, duch, and a whole host of other names that he doesn't care enough to remember.
Age: 44 (looks 20)
Regular Human (Yes/No): No
New Human: Regenerative Powers, Pyrokinesis (Not only can your bullets not kill him, he can melt your face off. Literally.)
Drawback: Very calculating, distant, rarely gets close to anyone. Has extreme disdain for wanton killing, to the point of refusing point blank to associate with those who kill on a whim.
Affiliation: Me, myself, and I.
Background: Born in 1965, The Ghost, as he prefers to be called, is a mercenary, hitman, assassin, thief, and general all around scum of the world. However, like most who live in the underbelly of the world, he has rules. In his case, two of them. The first, Don't kill anybody without a reason. The second, If he is associating with you, you probably deserve it anyways. The Ghost comforts himself after a killing with the knowledge that the person he killed probably deserved it. He was hired by criminals, to kill criminals. So in a way, he was helping the police.

It was convoluted logic, but it's all he has left. The Ghost was born into a Party family in Soviet Russia. His father was a scientist working with Element 555. One day, when the Ghost turned eighteen, his father took him to work, trying to get him interested. The Ghost, bored out of his skull, walked outside the plant for a smoke with some of the guards, maybe a shot of vodka and some cards. The plant exploded, and while everyone around him died horribly, the Ghost was hit with just enough element 555. Not so much he died, not so little he wasn't shielded by his regenerative power from the explosion. From then on, he explored his powers. Evading the police, usually with a witty quip, he made his way from Russia to China. More specifically to Hong Kong. After a not so pleasant experience involving a shotgun and his face, the Ghost realized that when he regenerated, he could control it a bit. Not specifically, but he could do man or woman, ethnicity, and body type.

That in turn, netted him the name, the Ghost. After you killed him, he came back. Angry and with a different face. Many of the Yakuza and Triad learned the hard way that it was almost always better to just do what he wanted, and not try to kill him.
