All the meteor does is conceal everyone, except those that entered in as the same time as you did. Again, you can still see the sand effects, and noises. If we were all completely and utterly invisible, we'd get nowhere.

-Why did they choose this side?: Upbringing, mostly. That, and most villains from her area lean towards the fascist side of the political scale, and she leans towards the libertarian side.

Main Personality: Lax, antisocial, prefers to socialize behind the comfort of a computer screen. As Overclock, she is outgoing, slightly less lax, and more than willing to make friends off-screen. Or enemies. Whichever works.
Appearance: 5'3", washboard-flat, decent muscles, nothing spectacular. 24.

Her costume, especially the ribbon-like part, can be controlled with her electrokinesis, as it is made up of a highly conductive material, which is also very strong. When she forms it into a drill (As seen in the picture), it can penetrate all but the strongest metals, namely, vibranium and adamantium. Her hat also has a built-in white mask that covers part of her face, like the Phantom of the Opera. Also, her hat is not that big, and the ribbons on it are only about half as long.
Powers:
- Able to 'possess' computer-controlled devices, such as computers, robots, etc. For robots, however, it takes a bit of time to figure out how to work the parts, unless she has posessed it before. If it is connected to the internet, or some other wireless system, she can travel between computers this way.
- Computers she possess have their computing ability - their 'reflexes' so to speak - enhanced by 350%
- Electrokinesis
- Limited technokinesis (Very limited)
Weaknesses: She's not exactly the pinnacle of physical fitness. While she's fairly fit and strong, she could be bested physically by many supervillains. She prefers to let her electricity (And costume) do the talking. Her accent flares up when she gets nervous.
Strengths: She can use her ability to travel through wireless (And wired) communications to travel just about anywhere at light speed. She's also an excellent cook, although she has to be talked into it. She's fairly skilled in hand-to-hand combat as well, but she mostly saves it for the thugs in her area. She is fluent in English, French, and Louisiana Creole. She can turn her (rather thick) accent off and on at a whim. She is an expert programmer and computer designer as well.

Her family had a small, beat-up computer that soon got internet access, and this is where and how she discovered her powers. That was four years ago. She has since earned her degree and keeps the internet running in the mansion, and has even set up a website for the X-Men that, with the help of several programming barriers she set up, can only be accessed if you know it already exists, and that you know the address. It also cannot be linked. Very useful.

Main Personality: Smart and charming, yet shady and confrontational at times.

Appearance: Twenty-eight years old, 5'11, with an athletic build. Eyes are gold. Hair is brown, long, and in dreadlocks. A scar runs from his right ear, across his cheek, to the right side of his mouth, where his brother once ripped him open with a scythe while playing in a shed.

Powers: Energy Manipulation

Weaknesses: He has almost mastered his abilities, though he has a long way to go before complete mastery. Therfor, when dealing with large amounts of energy, he runs the risk of serious harm to himself, or death. The most energy he has ever withstood manipulating was the blast from a small missile. Absorbing, then diverting, the energy left him in a coma for two days. He has had problems with his right leg ever since, though he doesn't know why that specific body part, and uses a cane, despite his young age.

Strengths:Since energy is ever-present, Luther never runs out of a source for his power. He manipulates best when dealing with explosive energy, kinetic energy, and thermo-energy (heat, grenade blasts, gunshots, fire). Is skilled in hand-to-hand combat, and can imbue his blows with energy to give them a bit of extra force.

Luther stood in the desert, sweating. Static crackled in his ear, and he could just make out the sound of breathing from his ear-piece.
"Luther, the missile is approaching quickly, from the north-east. It should be within your sight in two minutes."
He was nervous. The professor had worked with him quite a bit over the last year and a half, and this test almost felt like a mid-term. A mid-term that could incinerate you, or leave you comatose. Luther spat, turned to the north-east, and planted his feet firmly in the ground. There wasn't much in the way of a power source, due to his barren location. The point was to rely completely on the missile's kinetic energy to divert it, or if that failed, it's explosive energy to contain and absorb the impact and explosion.
A glint in the sky caught his eye.
"Hm." Luther spat again, and turned his head upwards, to face the missile head on. A high-pitched buzzing sound began to fill the air around him as the missile approached, gaining speed with the fall as it arced upwards, and began to come down. Luther took a few deep breaths, and put his hands before him, a diamond shape between them where they connected. he could see the missile through the gap. He concentrated.
The missile moved slightly to the right, then corrected its course. Luther grunted, planting his feet more firmly in the dust. Trying again, the missile swung upwards in a wide arc, faltered, and began to fall. Luther moved it away from him, slowly. Suddenly, it corrected its course yet again, and came at him faster than ever. Luther new he must steel himself against the blast. He watched the missile approach, and closed his eyes just before it hit two feet in front of him.
The blast enveloped Luther, but suddenly slowed, the flames billowing like smoke, and swirling around the man inside. the blast began to take on the form of a sphere, contracting some, then expanding in a burst as if it was trying to break the hold Luther had on it. With a whoosh, the flames shrunk in a flash and vanished int Luther, who stood trembling and a little singed. Luther groped within himself, trying to tear out the energy he had absorbed before it could consume him, gesturing with his arms as if he were ripping a substance from his body. Then, he stopped, turned his face to the sky, opened his mouth, and let a beam of orange light escape. As the beam subsided, the roar of it was replaced slowly by the scream emenating from Luther.
He collapsed.
