So I'm bored. I came up with some ideas for an FT RP, of varied settings and timelines.
1. Near-future RP: Around 2080 or so, humanity is spreading out across the Solar System. Outposts and mining bases exist as far out as Triton. Primarily takes place either on one of Jupiter's moons or in the Saturnian system somewhere; story likely a revolt of miners against an oppressive company in control of the mine. For example, the idea in my head is either a titanium mine on Io or an ice mine on a moon deep inside Saturn's rings (Pan, probably, due to proximity).
2. A redux of my 25000 AD RP: It was going well and had strong interest but unfortunately it died when I had to go to camp for a week. It's original OOC can be found here. Story will likely remain the same, though I will likely cut out a region or two from the list.
3. Space Western RP: Distant frontier world; sort of a cops and robbers or a game of bounty hunters. I'll include a fairly detailed description of the planet and its environs. Alternatively, a stellar empire tries to impress its authority on said frontier world, and the planet pushes back- hard. Cue war for independence.
4. Asteroid miners: We're all asteroid miners. Hooray. Or more accurately, we're asteroid mining corporations fighting for control of a resource-rich star system (with no planets, hence asteroids). Pirates are welcome too.
