The Barabian tribe is based loosely on the Celtic and Pagan traditions of the oldest of humans on New Earth. A war like tribe by nature, they are little more than hunting nomads. Although at first travelling around the continent for food and the like, the Barabian’s have built the foundations of a small civilisation on the coast line, establishing a primitive form of border that marks out its territory. Ready to wage war in order to spread its land claim, the Barabian’s are seen as brave warriors, despite their primitive weaponry and lack of a de facto leader.
The region dominated by the tribe was inhabited by small dwellings around the coastline, with a small number of nomads spreading out further into the mainland. With no real leader (elders in the tribe were considered the thinking force behind the civilisation), conquest was not an option for the tribe; for now at least. Focusing on fishing and hunting for now, the Barabian’s were content with what they had.
