Any weapon with which he can make monk attacks, he can use the unarmed strike damage. Any other weapon, he cannot, and must use the base weapon damage.
Ugh, I have to write up the stuff for the first encounter... and probably for some others.

So say if I had a Corrosive +2 quarterstaff, could I still use my unarmed damage and get the bonuses to my unarmed strike?
