That doesn't seem like something Shinga would do. I mean calling you to talk to the guy would be the same as saying Shinga couldn't tell the truth and that he would need help. Besides Shinga probably can't see you through the door and would also probably assume you would give chase to the run away ninja anyways. So logically when I get home and write his response he will run to the samurai and ask him to get a cleric as quick as possible while we guard the body. Or even better the samurai guards the body and I run seeing I am faster.

You know that there are no high-level clerics in or near the capitol.

Dude, I asked to the guy outside the door if he still sees the ninja, since according to Jor he's just outside the door. It's up to him to answer a simple question or not.

Also, no clerics in the city? MY GOD THIS DAIYMO WANTED TO DIE?

No clerics capable of casting fifth level spells. High-level characters are not common in this setting.

...no clerics? What the heck, how is the daimyo supposed to devinely rule if he doesn't have some high level preist type backing him? Wait I just realized something does that mean I am the highest level monk in the entire city (low level clerics hints that the entire city is low level) Also how hard would it have been for the daimyo to carry and enchanted plus 6 dagger, any one can conceal that easily and then he could defend himself.

You got my point. You would expect the DAIYMO to have enrolled one long ago at least. How this guy was gonna promote my musical career is a mystery to me.

Remember that very few people even hold PC class levels. Adepts only get 5th level spells at 16th or 17th level.

He failed his perception check and fortitude save. Also, +6 weapons don't even exist, and even if they did they would cost too much for an NPC of even the Daimyo's level.

Why do I have the odd feeling we are going to be blamed for this? We are the only high level characters that were for sure near by plus all the commoners just happened to die without us getting injured. This is going to look bad even if the way the daimyo died doesn't match withmost of our weapronry.

That's why I want to use my cha rolls now before the guard get's in or get's suspects. I can convince him to believe us. Otherwise, I have plan B, but it's gonna be an EPIC HARD roll.

It would be a little OP, I don't know someone is coming and it's not really my turn. In a normal D&D table, we always gave turns to our ideas even outside battle to be polite, except some dire moments when we started screaming like mad people.

You realize that I just have an ac of 12 right? I have an ok hp score but I will be torn apart in a fight with even a sucky fighter. We need to get a real fighter at some point. I mean right now our rogue is our tank basically. They almost have more damage then me also -_-

Ok, there is no way that thing is a disguise unless I rolled a 1. And even with that I think I would not recognize the Daimyo son in a random samurai.

Hehehe, you're screwed! :p

Although, the computer with Kumimasi's character sheet and the ninja's character sheet went down, so I'm probably going to have to make new ones...

...hmm very concidental that the person who is inheriting the daimyo's stuff happened to appear right after the assassin left and the daimyo died. I smell a conspiracy!
