In case you were wondering, he was disguised as a monk of the ghost path, who never speak, nor let anyone see their face. They do however carry a flute around, and are often expected to be able to play it, making them bad choices for ninja impersonations most of the time.

Most of the time.

HE'S LUCKY AS HELL.

My next action would be perform for the Daiymo to thank him for the meal, and so someone would point out that he had a flute. That lucky bastard must have seen that coming.

Of course, he could always play the flute. And by "Play the flute," I mean "Use the flute as a blowgun to kill the Daimyo."

No really, ninjas did that.

Yeah, right. The Daiymo was toast the moment he decided to do something like that to the military.

Also, with that there would be no way to win perception roll with that. Totally surprise attack.

Most people actually liked the change. Also, the Daimyo was level 8. I was planning to have him vaguely duke it out with the ninja, but the Daimyo kinda failed his save against death. In the surprise round.

Surprise attacks are awesome. Don't dis.

You DON'T fire your military without a big reason they are the first to understand. Especially in Feudal Japan, where honor is everything.

Also, he rolled a 3 on a surprise attack, wow that's bad.

Well, you know the meme, I'm not gonna post it, D&D is sacred. Just wow, to be a Daiymo you would expect to go down in flames, not with a 3 at an inn.

Hey, did he pay for our meals?

Ugh, just found something really silly. There's a rogue talent that allows you to take a ninja trick instead, as well as a ninja trick that allows you to take a rogue talent instead. Could they not merge the lists?

Are they? Oh well.

Also, I've found out that 20'th level ninjas are ridiculously OP. They can do 55d6+(5*str) 50d6+5d2+(5*str) damage to a target, and then also do 25d6 fire damage to the 5 foot radius centred on the target.

In one round. Beat that, full spellcasting classes!

EDIT: Damnations, it only works with shruiken. Oh well.

They can still do the in-fricking-sane amount of fire damage. That's more fire damage than meteor swarm.

That's the ultimate, it's fine. Hey, I can KILL anything with ears instantly at 20th level. With an harp.

It's not their ultimate. It's a combination of ninja tricks which can both be obtained by level 4. No, their ultimate means that no-one can see them, regardless of how many spells they cast, for 20 minutes. The ninja can still attack normally during this time. Fear the ninja.

I would like to point out that the ninja can do 75d6+stuff damage to you in the surprise round. And if by some miracle you survive, the ninja does it again with a decent initiative roll.

Remember the High Blug demands that you eat every meal like it's your last and that you hit everything with a stick. ALL HAIL High Blug the third.
