Nat: Night's always in some bizarre state somewhere between "intoxicated enough to kill a hair metal lead singer" and "annoying Mormon missionary sober".

Swith: It's because you're so awesome. God himself refreshes the screen before he types just to see if Nightkill has written anything while he was off somewhere else.

You don't have to be on the receiving end of his TGs.

I'm half-tempted to keep Dally alive just to piss him off because he legitimately has a seething hatred for the character.

I am completely serious in saying that I will crash the TARDIS into the Sun if that fucking thing does not die by the end of the episode.

There are other people who would jump at the chance to write the character of the Doctor.

That's really fantastic, Astro - I don't like it, I asked you to kill it, you agreed. We made a deal.

As (nearly) equal creators of this, I think it should be as simple as that and don't appreciate my opinions being trivialized.

I said I would think about killing Dally off before I planned.

Not that I would definitely kill him at the end of this episode.

I refuse to accept your apology and instead nuke Carolina (both) from orbit.

A random one-shot I was inspired to write.

Teatime on Cordova Mones.

The Doctor had laid out a simple wooden table, one that folded into itself when you pulled a bar on the bottom back. It was a terrible old thing that never folded out all the way and was prone to collapsing back in on itself if jostled. He rested his china platter on the table - the one decorated with orange lilies - and raised the matching teacup off of it.

He took a sip. Ah!

The sky was dark - the eternal night of a rock with no atmosphere. There were stars, so many stars and constellations, but the horizon was dominated by the planet; Saturn stared down at the mountain, its rings in all their glory displayed.

He sipped quietly on his cocoa. Always hated tea, but loved teatime. It was warm and chocolatey, like winter's comfort, but not hurt and not bitter. It tumbled down his throat, melting the layer of ice inside.

It was cold on Iapteus. Very cold - cold enough that, logically, the Doctor should have frozen. Logically, the Doctor should have choked on the barren surface. Logically, the Doctor should not have existed.

Bum-bum-bum-bum.

Double heartbeats, the sound of drums. Gallifrey in the sky, alive. Gallifrey in the sky, a-fire. Gallifrey no more. Time Lord tongue in his head, Dalek screams in his ear. The whir of a starship's engines, the screeching of the TARDIS, the burning Moment. Quivering with anticipation, he closed his eyes and did the deed. Lights and colors danced before him. Follow thy drum. Follow thy drum. Follow thy drum. Sound and fury signifying nothing. Told by an idiot. A tale. A tale. A tale. A tale in a book. A burning book. A Gallifreyan tome burning. Gallifrey burning.

When the hurly-burly's done,
When the battle's lost and won.

The Doctor watched from the stands and cried - not because of the play, because he was always crying. Because the battle's lost, but not won.

Because the Doctor is dead, he just got the displeasure of crawling out of his corpse.

Bum-bum-bum-bum.

Teatime on Cordova Mones and the Doctor is bored. The sands are white, except when they're black, Saturn turns slowly, and the Doctor is bored. He's seen it all before, a million times over. What was once foreign awe was now familiar serenity, a place to escape the companions and take cocoa, a place to think things over in private.

A place to cry.

Teatime on Cordova Mones and the Doctor is crying, because the Doctor is always crying.

Vworp. Vworp. Vworp.

Black dust was thrown in his wake as the Doctor ran. He would come back again, one day - he always came back again. He never got away, so he ran.

Teatime on Cordova Mones and the lonely moon is lonely once more.

Teatime on Cordova Mones and so is the Doctor.

Which is distinctly unimpressive. Think about it. A bunch of cavalry shooting arrows. My front door could hold up to that for an hour or two.
