D&D Dungeon Crawl (closed OOC thread)

Looking for 4-5 players for a good old-fashioned dungeon crawl. D&D 3.5, 1st level characters. A few things about what I'm looking for character-wise:

1) no evil alignments
2) other than monks, no "Asian" classes
3) no psionics (I don't have the psionics books)
4) preferably not races that have level adjustments, as this will start as a 1st-level campaign


This will (hopefully) be a long campaign and get progressively tougher as it goes on. To generate characters, please use this site: http://www.pathguy.com/cg35.htm and generate a character using the "tougher campaign" setting, then post it here to apply (do not choose equipment just yet, we'll handle that later, after the party has been set). Any questions can be posted here.

These creatures range widely in size. They are not particularly aggressive, but will often lash out with a bite attack before attempting to retreat.
Skills: Snakes have a +4 racial bonus on Hide, Listen, and Spot checks and a +8 racial bonus on Balance and Climb checks. A snake can always choose to take 10 on a Climb check, even if rushed or threatened. Snakes use either their Strength modifier or Dexterity modifier for Climb checks, whichever is higher. A snake has a +8 racial bonus on any Swim check to perform some special action or avoid a hazard. It can always choose to take 10 on a Swim check, even if distracted or endangered. Your charisma is too low for a bard. To cast 6th level bardic spells, you need a charisma of 16 by 17th level. That means you'll need to start with a 14 (modified to a 12 for being a dwarf) at 1st level. Are you sure you want to be a dwarf? A bard's magic is based on charisma, remember. Also, leave off the stuff about encumberance, and pick your spells and bonus languages. You'll also need to list your skills and feats. Remember to keep your perform skill maxed out (you would have 4 ranks right now). Also decide what your perform skill is specifically. List any bardic abilities you have (only what you have at 1st level, not what you'll get later).

Much better, but please don't list skills you don't have. I will have to reference character sheets throughout the game, and it'll make my job easier. Also, what is your perform skill? Instrumental? Vocal? Dance? I need to know. Also, you're entitled to one bonus language, so please pick one. And please list your spells known. Spells/day is not the same as # of spells known. A 1st level bard knows 4 0-level spells (BTW, with your charisma bonus you get 3/day at 1st level, not two). If you take care of this, then accepted.

Spells are fine. I took the liberty of tidying up your skills. Here's what you have:

Balance 1 rank (modifier +4)
Bluff 2 ranks (+4)
Climb 1 rank (+3, but this will change after you get armor)
Diplomacy 2 ranks (+4)
Concentration (you'll need this for casting spells in combat) 4 ranks (+6) -- You should keep this maxed out also
Disguise 2 ranks (+4)
Gather Information 2 ranks (+4)
Hide 1 rank (+6) <-- thanks to the Stealthy feat
Intimidate 0.5 rank (+2)
Knowledge (Arcana) 1 rank (+2) <-- always a must for spellcasters. Helps with counterspelling
Knowledge (Dungeoneering) 1 rank (+2) <-- makes sense for a dwarf
Knowledge (History) 2 ranks (+3) <-- always good for bards to have this
Perform (Instrumental) 4 ranks (+6) <-- you only need one Perform skill; taking more than one will just dilute them
Move Silently 1 rank (+6) <-- again, thanks to Stealthy

I'd like to get one more character, preferably a rogue, because you'll need someone to open locks and disarm traps. If anyone knows someone they can ask to join us, please do so. If not, I'll bring a character myself as sort of a "DM ex machina"; but I'd rather not do that if I don't have to.
