I'm somewhat curious - how many people here have done a crossover rp of sorts, or have their rps in a sort of multiverse? (We call it an Omniverse because we're cool).

Don't think I've ever seen it done, definitely never successfully.
It sounds too big and unwieldy to manage really successfully - by its nature, you'd have to divide creative control (at least) 50/50. That often creates huge problems.

I'm sure it could be done. If there are 2 RP's with enough backstory and with sufficient work put into actually building their respective lore and worlds, it's really only a matter of figuring out how a merger of the two could take place in a coherent fashion. A bit of work, yes, but not an overly daunting task.

Technical our Doctor Who is part of your omniverse, and it in turn is nothing more than a split timeline from the main Doctor Who universe -- specifically, the split being at the end of The Stolen Earth and beginning of Journey's End.

However, with due thought and deliberation I deleted the post, and figured I'd come to this thread and toss out the idea here before throwing the idea into the whole subform like so much piss in the wind.

Therefore I'll give you the brief description:
There is this city in California called Santiago. In the suburbs of Santiago there is this country club called the Robin's Nest Country Club. However, instead of your usual snobby upper class people, the club is populated by middle aged, retired criminals who've all made their fortune in crime and are now living off of it in this city, spending most of their days playing golf with their fellow sociopaths.

Any thoughts?
