But goddammit, I know Dickens you got paid by the word, but seriously, I do not give a flying fuck about the goddamn wall.

Report On The Character RP Genres On P2TM With Some Rambling, 28th of January, 2013

Giants of the Past, Midgets of Today
It seems that what were once the most popular genres in Forum 7 (Superpowered Teens, Demigod Teens, Crossover Tournaments) have completely disappeared. "Fanfiction" RPs seem to be quite scarce, with a surge of Original Content RPs popping up. The Far Cry 3 period ended in a week, as expected.
Atleast two or three Deity RPs popped up in the last three months. They didn't endure, as always.

Genres Rare As Fuck That Would Be Refreshing To See On P2TM:

Slice-Of-Life: An actually workable concept, provided that the OP tosses events for the characters to participate in, everywhere and then. Not to be confused with the usually ill-fated "High School RPs". Benefits highly from Animesque style, and a slightly demential mood.

Mecha: As in, the Japanese-style ones. Be them Real or Super Robot genre, Mecha RPs are rare, terribly rare on P2TM. So much that I ever saw two of them. And I was the OP of one.
Can work without being much anime-style, contrary to what one may think. Well, not much.

Any other ramblings or comments are welcome.
And yes, P2TM NEEDZ MOAR MECHA.

Hey, I have an RP about superpowered teens (Well, not so much superpowers as much as magic granted to them by the gods of their world). Speaking of that, due to Rup quitting my Elementals RP, I'm looking for someone who would be interested in being a Metal Elemental. This basically amounts to having metalbending, ala ATLA-style, though not necessarily as martial arts based.

But that's the beauty of the Call of Cthulhu! You think it's a normal story, but then a cult goes and resurrects an eldritch priest who then kills the hell out of everything in the radius.

On second thought, that'd make a great rp.
