A long time ago, Erde was the birthworld, from where humankind evolved. An empire of humans ruled Erde until the Ancients' War. The birthworld was destroyed and few of the documents of humanity's past remain in existence. But now, the species has a new home; Bujumbura is an artificial planet, constructed to keep the species alive. The planet is in the shape of a large ring, and orbits the gas giant Samothrace. Here, the remnants of humankind live in peace, for the most part. Bujumbura has many secrets, and all of them are dangerous...

Built in the shape of a massive ring, Bujumbura orbits the gas giant called Samothrace. Bujumbura is built with an artificial gravity and atmosphere, which is similar to that on Earth, with forests and oceans, as well as tundra and deserts. A few cities and towns exist on Bujumbura, but the largest is the capital, Capitoline, also called the City of the Wolf.

Not much is known of the history of the artificial planet, nor of Erde, affectionately called "the birthworld". Documents saved from the destruction of Erde tell of a great State of North America, the mighty human emperor Caesar, and the Moon-Man Captain Armstrong. Sometime during the Ancients' War, Bujumbura was built for unknown reasons, likely for housing humans.

The entirety of the planet is ruled by Chancellor Bülow, the elected head of government. Under him is a High Council, which is made up of 50 representatives from around Bujumbura, who are also elected. They create the laws, and dictate the movements of the Military Police.

Welcome to Castle Hyper Tokyo, the location of the death-gameshow called Death Clock Watusi. Located in the forests of Bujumbura, Castle Hyper Tokyo is ruled over by the Olde-Erde Emperor, who hosts Death Clock Watusi, along with his co-host, the strange and powerful "Toby", a fan favorite.

The show is a mystery. No one really knows when it started, when it will end, or where it even gets funding. But everyone watches it - everyone. If you don't watch it, you're pretty much living under a rock. Or too poor to afford a television. But nevertheless, it is the most popular form of entertainment on Bujumbura.

Contestants are chosen at random by a lottery of sorts, though how one buys the tickets is a mystery as well; it seems people are just picked at random from a Yellow Pages. But this is neither here nor there. The point of the show is for contestants to... well, the requirements to win change, mostly during the actual show is airing, but the main goal has always been the same, which is to find the "Black Box," an object that... well, no one really knows what is inside of the Black Box. Or where it's from. To be honest, who won last year anyways? Or the year before? Do they know? Ah, probably doesn't matter*

Personality: Arrogance, boastfulness, smug satisfaction, and a god complex. What more could you want in a woman?

History: Born in a circus caravan, Trixie lived her entire life going from city to city. At an early age, she developed a fascination with magic tricks and began practicing. Even though her parents were trapeze artists, they still supported her in her venture. Of course, she still worked the trapeze with them as they were a family act. It was quite tiring working as both a trapeze artist and a magician's apprentice, but she persevered. She was good enough for that because she was Trixie. Nothing could stand in her way.

Unfortunately, at the age of 13, her mother was accidentally killed in a death-defying stunt, and the the family act was forced to break up. Depressed, her father left the circus, and Trixie hasn't seen or spoken to him since. No one knows where he is or what happened to him. Though she was crushed by her mother's death, Trixie wasn't going to let it get the better of her like it did with her father and delved fully into magic, honing her skills to a razor sharp point.

Finally, when she was 21, Trixie split off from the circus to form her own act. With nothing but a wagon and her magic props, she began touring Bujumbura on her own as "The Great and Powerful Trixie." She wasn't very successful at first, but she quickly gained a small following of fans and became a small-time celebrity. Of course, she won't stop until her face is plastered all across the world, and everyone knows her name. Her goal is to become the most famous person who ever lived, and nothing will ever stand in her way of achieving that.

Now a "free" robot, Kitty is left to aimlessly wander the streets of Asimov Bujumbura, not knowing what to do.
