Geomboa was currently deep under Caracas, the capital of Venezuela. Then he started to contact his daughter, Mary, who's current location was unknown to him. "My daughter, he said as he watched her through the Fang Sceptor of the Geosphere. I am the God of Earth and Snakes, but only known as God of Earth.... And I am your father.

Mary looked up from her book and asked, "Who said that?" After some time, she went back into her book.

I know you may not like it or may choose to ignore it, said Geomboa. But it is true. I am your father.

Before Time

Sortis had seen what the other gods had create, but at first he had nothing to offer. Then humans were create, he then knew what he would add, their destiny and when they had died a place for their souls to enjoy their own paradise or perish with their soul ripped apart everyday for the rest of eternity, if they continued to sin in their life, or the chance to wait and be reincarnated to fulfill their destiny.

2012 A.D.
Sortis sat and listened to the other gods talk about saving and destroying humanity. Humans were fallible, that is how their were made, if they were made infallible, they would have been gods, but that is not the case. He also noticed the demigod Sarah, and her standing up to his brothers with a fury all her own. Her destiny was going to be an interesting one for sure, just as he designed it.

Utceforp wrote:Pan'deimos changed from his human shaped disguise to his true form, a fifty foot tall humanoid the colour of chalk and nothing between its skin and its bone, with only one arm, and brought his horrible, enormous yellowy smile and soulless eyes down over Sarah. Despite his nightmarish appearance and endless rage seething just below the surface of his words, he spoke calmly and clearly "Do you really think your "armies" and your "nukes" have any meaning to us? Do you honestly think that you won't surrender when you see our power at its fullest? And another thing, your own argument defeats itself. If wiping out something so far beneath us is an amoral thing for us to do, than it is amoral for you too. Those "billions of innocent lives" have all most likely crushed ants, killed infections and eaten meat, yes? All they are doing is wiping out something that only lives for a tiny moment anyway, something that cannot comprehend, let alone fight, them. That is exactly what we are doing." This "Sarah" seemed like no threat to Pan'deimos, he was only lecturing her for his own sick amusement. "You are just like me." He said, through his misshapen smile. "We created you, you are us. We are the reason you love, we are the reason you hate, I am the reason you hunger for the body parts of other creatures. You both may not and cannot argue with me, so I suggest you go back to leading the pitiful and insignificant pit of debt and bigotry you call a country and wait for judgment day."

"Hold your tongue, Pan'deimos," Baupet warns, his figure lumbering over him now as the retrained, mummified form casts itself over the void, standing a massive 50 meters tall, swarfing the humanoid beneath his massive frame. His works echoed through the webway into the minds of all those present. "Let the human speak. Their words carry as much meaning as yours."

He turns his bony-face towards the human, leaning down to face it. Baupet's skull was easily he size of a small house, easily, and his eyes as large as cars. Red, faint pupils glowed within. "I see into this human's heart. She is adamant, and with good reason. This race has accomplished much, and she is prideful of it. Perhaps rightfully." Baupet then turns attention back onto her, and addresses her directly.

"Do not give way to the threats of these insecure beings. Their egos outmatch any power they may posses. They are arrogant. I have seen their hearts, and I speak only truth upon you." Baupet never once spoke a falsity, to god or man or beast. Baupet raises himself, and looks upon the other Gods of the Pantheon.

"I give the humans my blessing in this matter." He states plainly.

On Earth

The ethereal tendrils of Baupet, wrapped across telephone lines and through datastreams, harden. His presence extends and grows, powering them, and speeding them. Human communications grow incredibly fast, as the servers and generators and lines which power and carry them grow stronger. The wirse of these machines are blessed, giving them incredible strength, and now power seems to flow freely into them; into every IP-connected, address-bearing device; now taken fully under the protection of Baupet. There will be no disruption of communication on the part of the Gods, and Baupet has made sure of it; from every phone to super-computers and government satellites, they were now blessed as Messengers.

Seldarine studied Sarah with interest the poor woman was admirable for standing up to those who are stronger then herself but so far none had stood beside her. With a smile, Seldarine realized that the dreams that she had created for Sarah might have finally influenced her into openly standing up for Humanity.

"Leave the child alone she is standing up for humanity against her people's destruction yet some of us insult her simply because she speaks her mind? Being a half god and half human must be a great struggle, I for one admire her ability to stand against the wishes of those who seek destruction of the world,"speaking the words with a hint of respect in them but her words dropped to a whisper,"I know what you dream of Sarah you wish to see humanity saved from destruction but what of your nightmares of the destruction of humanity by your own hand?"
Better pass boldly into that other world, in the full glory of some passion, than fade and wither dismally with age. -James Joyce

“America will never be destroyed from the outside. If we falter and lose our freedoms, it will be because we destroyed ourselves.”-Abraham Lincoln
"Power is a curious thing...Three great men, a king, a priest, and a rich man. Between them stands a common sellsword. Each great man bids the sellsword kill the other two. Who lives, who dies? Power resides where men believe it resides; it's a trick, a shadow on the wall, and a very small man can cast a very large shadow."

Sarah had smiled sincerely at Baupet, nodding at him. Atleast some of the gods seemed very reasonable, and had managed to understand her intentions. She nodded at Seldarine, too, when she spoke about her.
Then, she remembered that Acolyte before, and Seldarine now had called her a 'demigod'

She stood there, confused, before speaking again to the Godess in front of her.
"I...I won't be capable of dooming the entire world...that...that would be horrible." she said in a moody manner, looking at the godess. "I only hope that my dreams of peace and prosperity will become real...just that..."

Khasku peered down at the small human, looking into her and her beliefs, and what she saw surprised her. This mortal, this human, this---"Sarah," genuinely believes that humans deserve to live, she thought with amazement. I..Well, this is interesting. I may not like humans, but this one.....she believes, to the point where she doesn't back down, even from the Gods themselves! Involuntarily, a slight chuckle escaped her, and she found herself walking across the marbled floors towards the human. Sweeping around her, Khasku stared intently at Sarah, seeking some hint of guile, a smidgen of mischief, some small doubt or hesitation. Finding none, she stopped to the side of Sarah, and addressed the gods.

"Perhaps I may have been a bit too hasty, my family, in calling for the destruction of the humans. They are a disgusting race, their minds filled with nothing but metal and machines, driven by a desire to destroy and ruin all that I hold dear, but some....some, can be redeemed. This one, for example," she said, gesturing at Sarah, "has the courage to face us! And not only face us, but to sass us, in our homes! That takes guts, courage, and determination, and those qualities are few and far between with humans. I suggest we give humanity a chance," she continued, raising one slender finger, "and one chance only, to redeem themselves. A contest, if you will."

Yellowstone National Park, United States of America

Pamela Bower looked up from the clipboard she was working on, feeling as if some cloud had passed overhead, only to see a clear and sunny sky above her. That's strange, she thought curiously, I could have sworn someth---No, nevermind. It was probably just a bird of some sort. Still, there was some lingering anticipation, some sense of an uncompleted task that hung over her head. It had been bothering her for the whole day, making her jumpy and irritable, unable to focus on her work. She stared at the sky overhead, peeking through the green needles of the trees overhead, trying to make sense of her feelings.

Noticing her distraction, the Head Park Ranger stopped his speech on the necessity of tagging and tracking the various wild animals, and instead shouted in her direction. "TRAINEE BOWER!" As every head turned towards her, Pamela was jolted back to Earth, confused and disorganized. Stuttering wildly, she was about to launch into an excuse before the Head Park Ranger cut her off. "Having a nice day back there? Enjoying the sunlight, the breeze? Well, you're not here on vacation, Trainee Bower, and you better remember it!" he said in a calm, almost pleasant voice, before he resumed shouting. "Now, GET BACK TO WORK!"

Blushing furiously, she lowered her head back to her clipboard, her pen scratching furiously across the page, copying down the characteristics of the animal the Head Park Ranger was describing. Still, even as her mind focused on the page, a small portion of it could, if it focused, hear a woman calling her name from far away....

OOC: Sorry for the cruddy quality.

Seldarine showed compassion with her smile before answering," Your actions will either save or doom the world, you could be known as the savior of humanity or the slayer of humanity this is reflected in your dreams and nightmares. Being a demi-god has granted you powers that no human could even dream of and your ability to live with the humans has granted you a experience that none of us here has ever truly been able to experience.

"WE ARE LEGION!"Shouted a Plague-warrior as he ran forward along with the twenty others. The twenty one warriors were joined by twenty one more as they then threw small green orbs at the ground, causing a massive rift to open. "Good, boys." Malice then walked down, from his throne and pushed his hand into the warp."Feels good. FORWARD." The warriors nodded and got into their transports before Malice stood on top of one as it drove into the rift and landed in New York. The road they landed on instantly turned to puss and looked twisted. He then grinned and shouted."MY PEOPLE, I HAVE ARRIVED WITH GIFTS!"The by-standers looked up to him before becoming diseased, bloated, puss filled and immune to pain. He then had his warriors come out and start to attack the buildings, to make him a new plague garden."I can't be bothered with this God meetings, we always have... Let's have fun!"

god meeting
A man seemed to pop into existence, clothed in only underwear. He didn't quite remember how he had gotten there, or who he was. he did know, however, that he stood amongst a bunch of terrifying beings, and held two things in his hands. in his left a sheet of paper with runes he could not read. in his right, a lined notebook sheet with something written in english.
"read the following out loud:" said the man. "This man is the represenetive of me, John Quincy. You may refer to him as Bruce. I send this represenative to tell you that the humans should not be destroyed. they should not be destroyed, because they are all that helps holds back the Mgelthinot, who wait for us to make the mistake we are making."

Realm of Magic
John scurried to the corner of his arcanum even he thought he would never have to go to. from it he retreived thousands of books, each written in one of the myriad languages of the earth. he shoved them into the bag of convenience, and then vanished from his domain

streets of new york
exiting his realm out onto the streets of new york, John Grabbed some of the pus of the street. he put a small field of protection around it, and flew off.

somewhere in new jersey
John burst through the door with considerable force, nearly causing a heart attack to the mother inside. her two children screamed, and fled to thier mother. John tossed a book and the pus, shaped like a vial, at the woman. she did not respond, stunned by the rapidity of the action. "you will read the book, and do what you will. you will call the police or whoever is important these days and tell them that the pus might hold valuable information for their future. see ya!"
John floated out of the house, fairly certain the woman would follow his instructions. he didn't have time to check, however. there was 6,294 books left to deliver to thier chosen targets.

"But who prays for Satan? Who in eighteen centuries, has had the common humanity to pray for the one sinner that needed it most, our one fellow and brother who most needed a friend yet had not a single one, the one sinner among us all who had the highest and clearest right to every Christian's daily and nightly prayers, for the plain and unassailable reason that his was the first and greatest need, he being among sinners the supremest?"

Before time.

Drach'jya'lor'tu, the dragon god, gave the world a simple gift. Balance. Without this balance, the world would destroy itself. There were many forms of balance that the dragon gave: Balance among magic, balance among structure, balance among minds and balance among life being the best known.

Balance among magic was perhaps the most important. It was basically what stopped the world blowing up. Balance among structure also stopped the world imploding. Balance among minds was more complicated, but basically stopped everyone going insane. Balance among life meant that people would not all die.

Balances could be disrupted. Large numbers of deaths would strain balance among life. Balance among magic would be disrupted by use of massive spells.

Drach'jya'lor'tu was responsible for keeping this balance, but it would not be easy.

2012.

It would not be easy.

Not only did he have to deal with human wars - which was easier than normal, because he could shift balance to pertain to the sides of the war - but now he had to deal with a war in heaven. Magic everywhere, death aplenty, and plenty of mind fuck. Drach'jya'lor'tu vaguely wondered who kept balance in heaven.

He turned his mind to more pressing matters. He spoke up. "Due to the state of balance, there are only three options available in regard to human numbers. One: keep the world as-is. Two, kill everyone. Three, kill select people as to maintain balance.

I advocate the first option, as we can safely nudge the humans towa..."

He stopped abruptly mid sentence. "What in the hells is Malice doing?" He ran out of the meeting, racing along the twisting corridors in such a way that no gods could even think to locate him quickly, leaving the other gods to wonder what Malice was doing. It was clear that whatever it was, it was disrupting the equilibrium, hard.

Drach'jya'lor'tu did not intend to let that happen.

One and a half minutes later.

Drach'jya'lor'tu appeared out of the sky, wings blazing as they always did when he appeared on earth. "Malice. What do you think you're doing?" Darch'jya'lor'tu knew the answer, but wanted to hear it from Malice's own lips.

"Making a new garden."Malice replied, as the city began to turn, the buildings turned a bile green as massive sores opened on them and puss rained down from them."Nazta, daboy." He then signalled for his transport to move towards central park, where the crowning piece of his garden would be."Don't be long, dragon. I plan for making the city something vile." As he began to drive away, the ground turned into sores and flesh after the transport drove over it. He then lifted his scythe and slammed it into a building, causing it to turn into a massive Plague Engine, a roaring machine that rumbled and fired shells of disease, which sprouted plague trees. The people were now under his control, their massive bloated bodies spreading disease everywhere. "Oh and be careful Dragon, my plague anti-air weapons may decide to fire at you." He grinned from behind his helmet, humming to himself as he then lifted his scythe and cut open another rift, letting more plague-warriors into the city as they began to turn it into a Plague City.

"So it's decided we are going to have a holy war? Who wants to be allies with me for this thing? What about you Malice, disease and death goes good together." Chemosh said wondering what happened what happened while he wasn't paying attention. He had already given his few necromancers orders and they were already working on spreading his religion. The necromancers were generally ignored but not for much longer already they were taking humans for his zombies and skeletons. His army would need reinforcements because he had been limited to stealing corpses from graveyards and staying out of the public eye. Once his army was strong recruits would flock to him.

The Gods...
Merva smiled, turning to face the barely-dressed man, with an expression that seemed almost terrifying in it's benign-ness.
"...Hmm. Now, what is John doing, that he can't come and see us, hmm...?"

To be perfectly honest, which wasn't something that often happened, Merva wasn't going to trouble himself with it. He'd managed to send a response, and was probably busy doing something of little importance, which, certain gods knew were the most important things of all.

Well, that's what he was thinking, anyway. Before Drach'jya'lor'tu ran off, saying something about Malice. Merva shrugged, deciding that following would be more fun than talking, and headed to earth himself, summoning his staff into his hand just in case it came to that.

"...Yes, Malice, what are you doing to the city? I have an apartment here, you know. I won't be happy if you've made it smell as bad as these streets, now."

Somewhere in NYC...
Agent Miles watched out of the side of a helicoptor, sat in the open doorframe. Blinking, he pulled out a phone, dialling a line directly to the President. It went straight to answerphone. Undeterred, he just spoke anyway.
"...Uh, yeah, boss...? ...We've got a problem..."

(OOC: ...do the demi-gods know each other are demi-gods? ...If not, I'll change it. Might retcon Artie into a bodyguard/assassin, too. That makes a bit more sense for what I posted.)

Drach'jya'lor'tu was thankful for the hundred powers of the dragons. There was one for everything, including telepathy. Guys, get down here. he sent to all of the gods who had voiced interest in saving the humans, along with two pictures of here - one pre-Malice, one post-Malice - and a picture of Malice to finish off. And try not to alert the others.

He was also taking gaps to furiously heal everyone and everything in the area, while trying not to use too much magic of one type - throwing lighting bolts at Malice was also good fun.

He looked at Merva. Help me, he sent.

Pan'deimos stayed in his godly form, but grew to the height of Baupet. Despite this increase in size, mentally he was receeding. The demigod's courage had surprised him, and he had let his rage get the better of him, something he only enjoyed when it happened to his human victims. While his smug smile and calm language was only a poor facade before, he was now in control of himself, and he knew that he was much more powerful when he was plotting than when he was having a tantrum. "Ah, so my good friend Baupet has arrived. Tell me, do any of you, human included, find it funny that the god of messages seems to be the last person to get the memo about this party? Because I do." Pan'deimos did not reduce his size, but turned to Sarah. "Human, you don't seem to know the position you're in. You words may have philosphical value, as our late friend points out, and maybe I will not be allowed to kill you. However, I think it would be a good idea to keep you here, in kind of a reverse "house arrest" kind of way. Oh, and don't expect any rescue, no matter how many Bad Dudes you have on your payroll, this place isn't exactly easy to get inside. But I think we should discuss that later." Pan'deimos sensed the sudden battle and wanted this discussion to go on longer. The longer the gods sat here squabbling, fighting amongst themselves and creating chaos to feed Pan'deimos, the longer attack-of-the-fifty-foot-booger went on in the streets of New York, and Malice did Pan'deimos's work for him. "In any case," Pan'deimos said, his voice dripping with sarcasm. "I concede that that's a very nice country you have there, and it would be a shame if something were to happen to it."

The plague AA guns then opened fire on the dragon while Malice grinned once again and leaped into the air before attempting to slice at the dragon with his scythe."Why, I would be happy to join your side my fellow God." He then watched his new followers, began to stumble towards the dragon while his plague-warriors began to open fire, diseased round after round heading towards the beast before a virus missile was launched at it. Two ripped, leather wings then came from his back, giving him flight. "Now, now Drach'jya'lor'tu. No need to put up a fight." He laughed as his plague engine then fired at central park, turning it into a plague garden. He then closed his hand, causing another rift to open and a legion of flying virus bats then flew out, spitting a toxin at the Dragon God.

Merva smiled, slightly. It did smell quite terrible. And the destruction... Well, that was something else, wasn't it. He gave a slight gesture at the dragon-god, telling him... well, he wasn't sure. He got the message, anyhow. He lowered himself in the air, casting illusions to keep the bulbous buffoons busy whilst he himself carried on towards Malice, intending to... stop him? Distract him? Well. He'd improvise when he got there.
"Oh, Malice? I don't like being ignored for people who look slightly more impressive."

2012 AD

Euzechiel sighed. The God was sitting in his Maze. Describing the Maze was impossible, for it was the landscape of things to come, things that are and things that had been. Currently, he was in quite a heavy discussion in a room that looked suspiciously much like the throne room of Versailles.
“We have discussed this over and over. I’m getting fed up with this.” The God tried to sound angry, but his voice still had a small amusing edge. His petitioner made a disappointing sound. “It has never been clearly stated. One can technically be…” “One remains equal to one. Why would you like to be a prime number, I never got it. You are still standing high in the hierarchy, even without being a prime number. I shall have no more of it. “ Number one bowed and left. After a dismissive gesture, pi and the square root of two also departed. “And I thought the natural numbers gave the least problems. Ha!”

Suddenly, the room dissolved in strings of gray smoke. Euzechiel found himself in the Council of Gods. The debate going on was none of his concern. But still, he found he had to say something. Rising and politely scraping his throat he said. “Brothers and Sisters, Please! Let us remains civilized. I agree that humanity has become too… lax and we ought to do something about it. But destroying our most beloved and most successful experiment till now would be very stupid. Humanity has destroyed, but it has created too. I suggest we could at least put up an ultimatum before randomly killing people. “

He turned to Sarah. “But, you ought to know your place. Humanity has evolved from the very beginning, so much is true. But thinking that you could even be on par with us would be a grave mistake. Every aspect of human live, every skill humans take pride in is one of OUR domains. We might have not been the best masters, but you have been far, far worse servants! Rebelling against us would be a the last stupid thing humanity ever did!” Chuckling, he added “The Honourable Deity gives way.”. Euzechiel sat down.

Drach'jya'lor'tu did one of the cheesiest manoeuvres ever. A barrel roll. "You realise, I hope, that what you're doing could quite easily destroy everything. I don't just mean earth, I mean everything. I mean you."

He stopped trying to avoid the missiles, they weren't affecting his fiery form anyway. He instead turned back to his attempts to heal the humans-I-mean-plague-warriors-I-mean-humans-I-mean-plague-warriors-I-mean-humans-I-mean-plague-warriors-I-mean... they were changing back and forth at light speed with the two gods battling over them.

The ridiculous amount of magic the two were generating, coupled with the fighting which was surely going on in both heaven and Earth, was going to screw everyone over soon. Darch'jya'lor'tu could try to stop heaven screwing itself over, in the same way the human archmagi tried to stop earth screwing itself over, but they couldn't have done it without Drach'jya'lor'tu. Admittedly, the ratio of Drach'jya'lor'tu : other gods was greater than that of archmagi : other humans, but still...

Alternatively, he was being paranoid.

He decided to stay on the safe side. Okay guys, get down here, now!

Busy in the hallowed halls of the Gods' meeting place, Khasku was too busy discussing the fate of humanity to notice Drach'jya'lor'tu's message. The arguments raged back and forth, occupying almost all of her attention, until she began to feel a slight tingling at the back of her mind, a subconscious cry for help from one of subjects. Tracing the link with a sigh, expecting to see another dead elephant or a bulldozed forest, she instead was faced by a mental picture of New York City. Confused, she briefly glanced through the eyes of thousands of pigeons flocking around the city, and what she saw horrified her, her emotions reverbrating down the connection, making all the pigeons suddenly take flight, flying in every direction.

Severing the mental connection, she swayed visibly in the meeting place, her mouth opening and closing in shock. Finally, having recovered enough mental composure, she disappeared with a sweep of her robes, and appeared in the middle of Central Park. Instead of the peaceful and sculpted nature that was normally there, she beheld a scene out of her worst nightmares. The plants and animals, her creations, were being overwhelmed by spores and creatures of Malice. She stood in the park, stunned once more into silence, before absolute rage engulfed her. Summoning her energy, she released it in successive blasts, directing it carefully and focusing it on multiple tasks. A good portion went to the lowliest, but most beloved of her creations, the grass and weeds. The energy coursed through their cells, initiating massive replication and mobility, sharpening their edges and transforming the entirety of the Great Lawn into a razor-sharp thicket. Her consciousness, or a portion of it at least, moved within the grasses, taking hold of clumps to lash out at any enemies within sight.

The second blast of energy was less impressive, but just as important. At her call, the earth seemed to ripple and boil as millions of insects and small animals scurried towards the spore-infected areas. Leaping headlong into the spores, they overwhelmed the spores through sheer numbers, oftentimes ripping them apart from within. As the wave moved on, munching through the infected areas, the remnants of the energy passed through, cleansing and repairing the life that once flourished there.

And at last, Khasku turned her attention to the trees, her noble guardians of the forests. Delving deep within her power, summoning her reserves of energy in the Amazon basin and Southeast Asia, she released it, directing every last bit of it into the trees. The energy coursed through the veins and knots of the trees like fire, burning away the dead areas and giving the spark of life and mobility to them. With ominous creaking and groaning sounds, the trees began to sway and shift, roots tearing and breaking free from the soil as they moved towards the edge of the park. There they halted, forming an impentrable wall of bark and leaf, lashing angrily at any minions of Malice that attempted to enter.

Khasku stood within Central Park, and spoke to Malice, her artificially amplified voice echoing through the city. "Malice, what in the name of Hell do you think you're doing, touching my domain? How dare you," she said, shaking with repressed anger, "seek to destroy what I have built over the thousands of years? Explain yourself at once!"

"Allow me," Drach'jya'lor'tu offered Khasku. "Malice is trying to screw over everything that we have achieved since the dawn of time. That is what Malice is attempting to do, and we are trying to prevent it happening!"

He turned around in the sky, and sent a third message to those yet to come. Get the hell down here, damn it!
