Smiling at the lie, he chuckled. She was quite good at it, but Shady had lived at game for power since he was three and lies were easy to spot now. He himself told one perfectly at the same moment.
"Of course. Such a simple explanation-how could I have thought otherwise?"
"Hm, someone is VERY disrespectful. And not Laz. maybe i'll just take him to get him some food and some new clothes. His owner isn't very polite. If i must say Would you like to feel what it's like to be a slave and have someone mistreat you? Course if you grew up rich you never would." She stared him down and pulled out ehr drink and drank it, making perfectly clear she admited to the lie without telling Shady.
