"Oh crap... waffles!" Both Swiths said in unison.

"Bran, listen, there was an accident while you were gone. The waffle iron... because I didn't use spray stuff... and drain cleaner... well uh." Swith shook her head. "I broke your waffle iron. But you can have my blender, okay?"

2Swith picked up Fortu and hugged his skull. "I was saddened when you died," she said.

"It's ok Swith, it was only a dream. When I die, I'll just go back to NVE's mind and become part of him or her again." Fortu said. NVE fell on the floor trying to break free. "Mmmrpgh crpyha drghya!" she mumbled. "Ok, what are we going to do with NVE now?" Fortu asked.

"That's what I asked you," Swith said and squatted down to peer into NVE's eyes. "We can't leave her tied up. We could try to reason with her. Or we can tell her that the butterfly effect is very real. Purging Arthur would have very dire consequences, an absurd sequence that loops back upon itself and negates the moment when NVE first gained his ability to do what he does. He would, in fact, murder himself by purging Arthur, because Arthur is the key to his own sapience. But if he'd rather be a stupid dinosaur, I suppose I can keep him as a pet to replace that Spider that Bones gave me, but which Tsu killed."

The closet door opened and a sheepish Omi handed Bran a box wrapped with Happy Anniversary paper. Inside was a Wells 20105 Waffle Maker. "Here you go, Bran," she said and hugged him.

Drake's shadow suddenly appeared and snatched the book and the files

"Drake is gonna love this" He said with a smile and he glided fast. "See you losers!"

Arcad was trying to find her apartment that she had just purchased not long back. The only problem was is that none of them were numbered and she had no way of finding out where she now lived. The first door that Arcad saw she entered to see it was occupied. "Woops..."! She said as she rubbed the back of her neck.

*meanwhile in the bunker*

Kaiser, I am detecting new life within the premises of the apartment complex

*Thriller raises his head*

"ahhhh, new blood. Lets go give'm a warm welcome, what'cha say M.A.I?"

That would seem appropriate, sir.

*Thriller runs out of the bunker and to the location to meet the newcomer*

Arcad was trying to find her apartment that she had just purchased not long back. The only problem was is that none of them were numbered and she had no way of finding out where she now lived. Bones is sitting on a chair facing the door. He is pointing his revolver at her.

"Funny, you weren't the one I was expecting at all. Why would they send someone as young as you?"

"It's ok Swith, it was only a dream. When I die, I'll just go back to NVE's mind and become part of him or her again." Fortu said. NVE fell on the floor trying to break free. "Mmmrpgh crpyha drghya!" she mumbled. "Ok, what are we going to do with NVE now?" Fortu asked.

"Excuse me," Swith said to her friends. She flung open her garbage portal and swept all of Thriller's belongings into it. "I don't mind the company, but the bastard set up his lab in front of the TV, and I'm having a devil of a time keeping the security system from destroying his electronics."

She opened the door and stormed up the stairs and shook the portal out, dumping all of his stuff behind him in the lobby.

"STAY OUT OF OUR APARTMENT! I invited you in for COFFEE ONE TIME remember? That's it! Nothing else. NO labs. NO little happy emperor sleepy area. NO nothing." Swith snorted at him and stomped back down the stairs.

She pried the duct tape from NVE's mouth and looked at her. "Well, do you understand why we're all so upset? We'd rather you be NVE and not a stupid zoo dinosaur eating fatty chunks of meet that we throw at you twice a day.

:kiss: I love Thriller. I'd make this a running gag but for the previously established security system. If he doesn't mind having his equipment and cybernetic body violated every day by the bio-system, he can stay.

This time, it'll be different. The butterfly effect. Once Arthur is purged, you negate your intelligence back in time. So you'll be a mindless little dinosaur now, once you change back. Not even so much as a predatory drive, which is why we'd have to throw chunks of meat at you." She tipped NVE's chin up and looked in her eyes. "I can't think of anything quite as sad as seeing a brilliant being reduced to such a sad state of retardation just because that being didn't realize how important that one, irritating aspect of his psyche was. There's no way to even reveal it to you as proof, because doing that would have the same horrid effect. You're smart, NVE. I'm Swith, your friend... non-mammal, non-human, non-original to this dimension."
