I think it's time to start an RP based on one of history's most notorious times, the Middle Ages, the Crusades, and Mongolia.

The RP will begin in 1190, when Mongolia was still divided and the Crusades going on. Of course, players can be anyone from the Kings of England to Mongolian warriors trying to survive. Players also have the option of having both European nations and Asian ones.

Bio: Born and raised in Samarkand, Taghvaei has always been a devout Muslim and with the onset of the newest crusades, he has decided to go and save the land he believes belong to the Muslims and keep it out of Christian hands. But being from Persia he is not welcomed by most Arabs. He has gone under cover and decided to become a mercenary working in Jerusalem.

Misc. Info: Skilled diplomat, general and ruler very charismatic. Married to Elena of Bulgaria. Has a grudge against the Byzantines for the years of occupation Bulgaria had endured. Has two sons Ivan II and Alexander. As well has two brothers Peter IV and Kaloyan.

Well, to be precise; Brit started the old fantasy RP, it died and I resurrected it by starting another one more or less identical with a few changes, mostly of the plot. The RP had a lot of potential so that's why I did it.
Also, North-East Ohio is one of the Old RPers. Ohio said he had computer problems months ago. Didn't get back to me, and well, he seems to have been busy since then, but sadly not on my RP.
Brit just seemed to forget about the RP, and didn't respond to a TG or two I think, either.

Sorry about taking Byzantium...Only interesting country I could take..(I would have taken Poland, Prussia, or Burgundy but they don't do much at this time...).
Also I would love to come back to that RP but it seems to have died and like I've said before I can't stay on my computer too long or else it fails on me and crashes.

I might have, but since it's just when the Angelid dynasty begun ruling Byzantium, maybe not. The Angelid reign was most notable for ending with the sack of Constantinople in 1204, and that dynasty is composed mainly of a bunch of scheming fools.

The only time I ever thought about not going Byzantine in a PT RP was a 17th century one, where I RPed as Scotland poised to get England under its ruler and unite Britain.

Bio: The latest dictator of Korea Choe was born in 1149. Rising through the ranks of the military he brutaly murddered all his rivals before seizing ultimate authority. Appointing his family as the new Ministers he has controled the various Emperors and stamped out any opposition to his family. Now he plots to expand the Empire beyond it's holdings and perhaps the Mongols of the north will just help him do that.
Misc: Skilled General and crafty politican.
