The economy had just literally went pfft. No one had money, absolutely no one.
China was still embroiled in a civil bloodbath that possibly killed more than the Soviet bloodfest.
The colonies of Britain were essentially beholden to the mother country for all their funds, trade, and military forces. International trade was hardly a going concern, accounting for maybe 20% of even the trade capital of the world, Britain,'s GDP.
Essentially, this is not the 21st CENTURY. Or even 1940. Y'all seem to forget that.

We recovered from the collapse by trading and invading Bulgaria ect. ect. and if we restarted we would loose over a year and a have of posts. People would most liekly quite and it would just be us reposting what we already have written.
