Yeah I kinda added a few states to that (Pennsylvania and Maryland) but it would be hard hit, like 1,000 nukes per 100 square miles or something, so it would be more of a pain than an advantage. Feel free to take Penn or Maryland.

The land I claimed for my nation was bounded on the east by the Appalachian Mountains. It contained the ruins of New York, DC, etc. I had a map in my application. Mainly, it would have followed the coasts and absorbed cities and took them over as it expanded.

Or did someone else take over my claim?

Anyways, here were some of the cities I planned to have:

-New York
-Philadelphia
-D.C./Alexandria/Arlington
-Baltimore
-Hartford/New Haven

I've decided I don't need to get deep into Virginia, so I'll just let those go to the Virginian player.

Ah well, I just went with what it said on the OP. I can change it, but you'll hardly be seen on the map.

On another note, Neros would anything that the Commonwealth could offer help speed up the process of relinquishing control of Connecticut?

May we assume that Canada and the Russian Federation went to war over the Arctic?

Well, we've met at some point. The Iron Fist Society sent an Expedition to conquer Boston sometime in the past and were defeated.

However, half on Connecticut would suffice. You're talking to the nation that owns the Pentagon...

Well ICly, I think over 300 years people will not really know what the cause was or develop their own theories. Ex.: "God sent a Hellfire onto Earth, bringing hardship onto his people to better them for life in Heaven." or something.

IFS thinks divides the timeline into "Pre-Crisis" and "Post-Crisis", and the Point of Crisis is explained as an exchange of nuclear weapons between the nations of the world. Over what matter is debated, as well as who fired first. It's generally considered in the IFS that others bombed North America relentlessly - as we have no contact with any other continent and only vaguely know of their existence.

We're pretty good scientifically I would guess - but we like weapons better. <Insert Liberty Prime>.

Speaking of maps, I will concede Hartford to New England in exchange for owning a Southwest Connecticut, which will include New Haven and Waterbury. Otherwise, my nation is shown perfectly, thank you.

Name of Government: Grand Wyomonida Confederacy
Territory: Montana, Idaho, Wyoming
Government History (origins, rise to power etc.): The lands that they lived in because of their low pre war population made it so that they were low priority targets and were relatively unaffected by the nuclear war this allowed their people to thrive when others suffered. originally the lands were filled with many tribes who were relatively peaceful with each other but fiercely hostile to outsiders, their people were known for their excellent sharpshooting and horsemanship skills also their love of cattle which were practically used like currency. One day an enemy came to their lands and attempted to conquer their prosperous lands only to be pushed back when the tribes in the area united to drive them back, using their good sharpshooting skills and mobile mounted infantry tactics they eventually won but with great cost. when the war was over all the tribes found that their populations were severely reduced so because they knew that if they did not work together next time a new war came they would be destroyed, so they banded together into a confederacy with each one of the 20 tribes being given equal representation. Eventually they found they needed to have a guy who could coordinate their efforts especially in the realm of foreign policy so they established the office of Doge , the doge would be elected by all the 20 chiefs of the provinces and would be allowed to serve until the council of chiefs had lost confidence in them.
Description: Primitive agrarian peoples who are usually disdainfully called "tribals" by outsiders the only economic activity worth warranting is in the form of Ranching of large cattle herds. The land though despite its dryness allows them to farm a little of which they usually farm Melons, Squash, Apples, red Wheat, maize, etc. They are quite isolationist but if you can get them to trust you then well you might find a loyal ally.
Population Levels (within reason): 600,000
Technological Levels/Advancments: quite primitive on account of most people being semi nomadic with only a few who live near the water sources farming, think of them like the native Americans except with bolt/lever action rifles and some cannons.
Notable Traits (Economic, Military etc.): Militarily they are like the Boer guerrillas of south Africa, excellent marksman and horsemanship they can knock you silly from a mile away with their trusty bolts and by the time you find out whats going on they will be running into the distance on horseback. They are experts at launching raids deep into their enemy's territory in one case going as far as southern Mexico, they depend on what could be described as a citizens army requiring in times of war that every man between the ages 15-70 be able to be called up. It is a requirement that every man in the nation maintain a horse, have a sword, a rifle and some ammo for it, these citizen guards as they are known as can only be called up for 1 year unless they volunteer for more if not then then guardsmen must be demobilized and cant be called up until 1 year has passed. The only standing army to speak of that they have is in the form of the 20 individual chiefs warriors, these warrior guilds vary in size from a few dozen to hundreds. They fight like mounted infantry men, ride on horseback fight on foot, they rarely attack from horseback except when they want to be real fast like in a raid.
Leader of Country:Doge Andrew T.W.
National Capital: None exactly, but they do use an old white ranch house near the town of Ralston, Wyoming as the place were the Doge resides and were the 20 chiefs of the provinces gather to discuss.

I think another player has also claimed Neveda, which has led to some confusion in the map. Maybe he was never accepted, but he posted in the IC anyway? I don't mind splitting the state either.

The NEC has only recently (30 or so years ago) acquired Boston, before that MIT held onto it. I guess you would have attacked MIT rather than me (because I really don't want to go to war with you), as MIT was a high-tech and all you lost, small force maybe? Anyway, to clarify the significance of MIT, I have down that MIT and numerous other Private Research Universities would take military contracts with the US department of defense...So yes MIT was rather militant at post-war.... So remember you're talking to the nation that owns MIT amongst other private research universities.

Also I would ask that I hold Hartford, as you get Bridgeport and New Haven which are both quite populated...

I'd prefer to have the whole state and then have him control New Mexico or Colorado, but I won't be picky, if he really wants some Nevada, I guess I can split. I think it's just because he wants New Vegas, but I'm pretty sure realistically it would be destroyed being that it was a major city- and there would be no Mr.House to save it :p .

Las Vegas wasn't a major city, unless you count 600,000 people (As of 2012) as qualify it as being a major city...

List of Military Campaigns to be expected in the IC from the Iron Fist Society:

-Hudson Campaign (Set to conquer Albany and wrangle the Hudson River Cities under our control, as well as to begin preparation to establish control of Upper New York via Barge Canals. Trade is lucrative from upriver as it passes through New York, we're Imperialist, sue us.)
-Overland Campaign (Appalachian Mountains are scary because of the Mutant Family Clans that roam them - but the need for their resources as well as strategic value is great. Take over of the mountains to our east.)
-Second Pitt Expedition (From I-76, another Expedition is to conquer Pittsburgh to establish the Eastern Fringe on the other side of the Mountains. Before or after the Overland Campaign, it does not matter.)
-Great Lakes Campaign (After all the others campaigns, this will gain the Western Shore under our control)

Set to occur over a long period of time.

Yep, the map got settled and looks good for both of us. Yes, the Boston Expedition was a small force and encountered stiff resistance and turned back to New York City.

Well, Columbia, Penn, and Princeton are under my authority, as well as the remnants of the US Capital and it's Military, the Pentagon, so it's stacked, man. We're militant and technologically set. You may have companies that had contracts with the Dept. of Defense, but I have the Dept. of Defense. Either way, I don't want to fight a New England War, so we should discuss an Alliance/NAP.

I'm sure the boys at the Iron Science Defense have some epic weapons they've scavenged off the US Military, and then some advancements after that. We're both high-tech ;)
