Yussef's expression changed full stop once he saw the another person. A wave of guilt suddenly struck him, in the heat of his anger was actually threatned another human being. It was his leg, the dull throbbing was getting worse, he felt like someone was taking a jackhammer to his skull.

"Look... we aren't here to... take advantage of you or anything, we just really need somewhere to stay the night. Please, we don't want to cause any trouble, I'm just... my leg's busted is all."

Ashely looked disapprovingly at Yussef. "that was the most disgusting thing I've seen today." She said as she kicked the gate open. "Hurry up, but we're having a meeting soon so you might want to lay low." She told the pair. "Just be sure you don't go causing trouble. We already have enough as it is it seems..." Ashely glanced at Milos and couldn't help but think who would leave these two survivors out here like that. He must've been trying to extort the or something. She looked back at the pair. "And I'm also going to need you to put your weapons away as well. We don't do open carry here."

Marshall got up from his chair. Tired of the awkward silence, he decided to break it.
"Are we just gonna sit here with our tails between our legs and not do shit?! Or are we gonna discuss how we as people are gonna push foward with our future? I am tired of all of this silence, this bullshit. I have seen many things, more than most people. I am no politician, no mutha fukkin' sheep herder! But all of you are actin' like sheep waitin' for there mutha fukkin' master. You people need to stand the fuck up and discuss. This is our future. We need to discuss it. Your all wastin' time. Time we don't fuckin' have. I'll tell ya all you people who think your badass, think your the shit. You ain't nothin, and I'll tell ya why! Because you don't know how to dictate your selves. You don't know how to walk without someone holdin ya fuckin hands! So stand up an be the people you are! Speak ya fuckin' minds!" he said, sitting back down. He waited for responses.

"Yeah. Or we could wait and see why exactly we were called here in the first place. That's required information before anyone speaks..." Doctor Stewart said with a frown, before glancing out of a nearby window, seeing figures outside between the blinds. One looked to have a small limp. "And I could go deal with that." he said, moving from his position and exiting, making his way towards the two newcomers, disregarding the uninjured man for now.

"Well, that's no walker wound, soi can help you with that. Doctor Nick Stewart. Guess what I do." he said sarcastically, nodding.

Yussef nodded and followed the woman into the prison. He leaned on his bike, limping along with his makeshift crutch. "Thanks a lot, for letting us in. I'm from Detroit so... this act of kindness is really something special." He laughed.

Yussef scanned the complex, though he had come close a few times in his life, he had never seen the inside of a prison. It did strike him as odd that there weren't more people around, he was expecting a flood of refugees to be piling up in here. He didn't quite know what to make of that.

"You guys seem pretty... established here. That's admirable, really. But this place seems to have attracted a very diverse cast. I know I shouldn't be the one criticizing right now, but... if its worth anything, at your meeting? I'd advise not getting too 'at home' with this place. Keep mobile. That's what keeps you alive."

"Right, just keep your noses clean." Ashely said. She walked back to the security room in almost no time flat to hear some asshole voice his mind. "Hey, jackass. Sit the fuck down and have some goddamn patience." She said in an uncaring tone of voice. She wasn't in the mood to deal with shit right now and wanted to the briefing to be over as well, but she didn't need him to make it worse.

Thomas had just been standing on the wall for a while now. It had become less populous here now, so he could get some time here. Then, suddenly, Milo came out and stood next to him. "Guess you can take the shift." he said while he went down, and towards the cafeteria. He took his mug into the microwave, and warmed some coffee up. This was the worst thermos ever, since it could not keep the warmth. He took out the coffee, and took a zip. It tasted horrible, so he threw the coffee into the sink, and started warming up the coffee in the machine. He hear the announcement over the speaker which told him to get to the briefing room, and he sat down at the front row.

When the Marshall broke out, and Nick responded, he started laugthing for himself. "Yeah, we are here because Scott has something to say. We want to know what he has to say before we can discuss it." he responded to the Marshall.

"Alright, I'd like to begin first by informin' everyone that it has come to my attention that word has somehow spread around about our settlement," Scott said. "Sure, this may mean that raiders will take more of an interest and that we should reinforce the walls, but this also means that we could possibly start up a tradin' network with other settlements. I also plan on attemptin' an agriculture project, but everything is temporarily on hold."

"For those of you haven't heard, we have a new enemy," Scott said. "As I don't know much about them, I'd like Gabrielle Leighton to deliver the brief on this enemy. Before she speaks though, I'd like to say that all operations will be on hold until we get this crisis under control."

"We have been at this prison for a few months, and hadn't ventured out until a couple of days ago. That trip was to gather supplies from Milan. During its course, we entered an open-air marketplace and a group calling themselves the Watchers identified themselves on TV. The resupply team was forced into a maze, at the end of which it found one of our own who had somehow disappeared between arriving at the prison and the trip out to Milan."

Gabrielle didn't want to reveal the exact manner of Yoni's death, to avoid sparking a panic especially among the newcomers, but she felt she had to say something about it. "The team was unable to rescue him from the Watchers, and he died." She nodded to Scott that she was done, and stepped back, bracing herself for the crowd's reaction.

"Can i ask a question?" Thomas said while standing up. "How did they get him? Are we safe here?" He asked. He was afraid of this enemy. He had seen what they did. He did not want to go like Yoni.

Sara had woken up. She sat on the bed, her trousers on, with the blanket covering her abdomen. Alex walked in, arms folded. "D'you want the key?"

"I want to know what I have scratches up my legs, but still." She said, raising an eyebrow, and grabbing the whiskey bottle. "I'm assuming we...?" She began.

"I don't have a fucking clue, Sara." He said, taking the keys and uncuffing her. "I have scratches on my back. We'll have to recall what happened last night."

"Alright then." She said, trying to get her head around the previous night. There was definite drinking involved - the whole room stank of whiskey. Plus, their clothes were on the floor - that was a definite sign that they had sex with each other. "Do you know what we talked about?"

"I think I said something about how you were upset about Yoni. Then you said something about how you needed a hug, and I gave you one. Then it was a blur, really." He said, sitting down next to her. "I think it's best if we forget about it."

Alex and Sara had been taking inventory on the food supplies when they were called for a briefing. They stood by the door, listening to Scott and Gabrielle, when Thomas chimed a question. "He couldn't have been kidnapped inside the prison. We would have definitely known if he was - this place might be big, but it's pretty much locked down tight." Alex said. "We have guns, we have weapons. We can hold out against a bunch of murders, rapists, and God knows what, I'm sure we can handle a couple of guys."

Xia finish installing the last piece of the computer. When the infection started she tried to contact her family but couldn't reach them. She decided to head to Belleville Airport, to go home but couldn't. When the infection reached the airport Xia hid in the bathrooms for several days until she heard nothing. When she open the bathrooms Xia ran outside of the airport, but heard heart dropped as she saw the situation was a lot worse. Xia began to scavenge nearby cars for food and water, but found very little. Seeing that her best chance was going back to the airport Xia kept living by scavenging food and water from the vending machines. One day while scavenging Xia found a crowbar outside and she's been using that to shatter windows, kill walkers, and open doors.

"Of course, this place sounded too safe. Now there is some lunatics out in the city killing people. Geezus.......but miss, you are missing some vital pieces to this puzzle. How did this man die? Who was this man? How did they get him? We need details.....judging by how you skipped his death, it may mean he either meant something to you personally or his death was gruesome. We need facts, no matter how gory or disgusting." Chris stated.

He took out another cigarette and lit it up. He exhaled a large amount of smoke. He stared back at Gabrielle.

"We need to know everything that happened in that maze."

"We were scavenging. We went to the market place for supplies - food, batteries, anything. We were forced by these men to go into one of three rooms - or else there would be consequences. We needed these supplies, so we went inside rather than turn back and possibly be injured, or worse - let them get back to the prison. We went through the maze, and came out to an opening which lit up. Yoni was pretty much tied up in chains, and being tortured. If we did manage to get him out, he wouldn't of lasted the trip home. We put him out of his misery - it was a group decision." Alex interjected. "It was the only thing we could do. We didn't have the tools to cut him free."

Alex wasn't going to let Monroe get blamed for Yoni's death. They were all there, and they all chose to let Yoni go - it was a group decision, and it was going to stay like that.

"I hope you're a better doctor than comedian." Yussef said dryly.

He set his motorcycle against the wall and hobbled towards the man. " Dr. Stewart it's a pleasure, my name's Yussef. I banged my leg up while trying to get outta of Milian." He shook his head. "I thought out here, away from the city, it'd be safe. I guess it was stupid of me, thinkin' that the worst of my troubles would be behind me."

Chris was trying to read Alex. Over the entire duration of the apocalypse, Chris picked up a nifty trait, he could read people when they were lying or holding back the truth. He read Alex, his interjections were clear that he's hiding some fact of Yoni's death.

"Still, I highly doubt they would just kill someone so brutally in front of you, without the chance of saving him. Unless you chose not to save him out of an expense." he logically stated.

Chris took another inhale of cigarette smoke. He exhaled making some smoke rings.

"And how you keep reiterating the fact that it was a group decision is starting to sound like it wasn't. Who put him out of his misery? I doubt the entire group did.....so when you guys want to tell the whole story, I'm right here."

"Fine then - I did. I shot him in the head. He was about to be ripped apart, and I shot him straight in the head." Alex said, his tone darker than usual. He stepped forward. "We all decided that he should be put out of his misery, and I stepped up. If anyone's got a problem with that - then feel free to let me know." He said crossing his arms.

Sara looked down, and closed her eyes. She didn't decide he should have died. Why would Alex lie? Why would he say that he shot Yoni?

Gabrielle also looked on, caught off guard by what Alex was saying. She shot a glance at both him and Sara; sliding over to the other woman, she whispered, "What does Alex think he's doing?"

Chris laughed.

"Its so noble that you give yourself such a higher and angry tone when you give the truth....its too dramatic." he said.

Chris stepped towards Alex and looked in his eyes. He used some of his interrogation tactics when he was in SWAT. He use to interrogate terrorists and bomb makers. He heard some trembling in his statements, some staggered breathing, and to finish it off a nice authoritative tone.

"As I already said, when you want to tell me the truth....I'm right here. Whats done is done, the man is not going to get into any trouble. If you couldnt save Yoni, then the man or woman made the right decision. We are in a world where a lie will get you nowhere and those who can tell who are lying, are those in charge. Lying solves nothing. If he made the right choice, then say his name.....but I believe you are hiding his name, because you believed you could have saved Yoni and he made the wrong decision."

"As long as I've known Alex - I don't have a fuckin' clue." Sara said, whispering back. Alex was covering - he knew someone in this prison was friends with Yoni, and his death may have sparked something in them. He was trying to save Monroe. This group needed military personnel much more than they needed a firefighter. "Whatever he's doing... I hope he's got a plan."

"I shot him." Alex said, each word almost spitting out of his mouth. "Either way - he was going to die." He said, sticking his hands in his pockets. "And you can believe what you want. Anyone can - I believe that everyone's meant for something bigger. Still - here we are, in a fuckin' prison."

Chris looked smug, still seeing Alex break down even more as the lie progresses. He decided a new tactic.

"Fine. We just hope that Yoni didnt have any close friends here. If that person did, I wouldn't want to be you. I bet he would come after you. Maybe in the middle of the night, and take you away. Torture you, break you, and then tie you up just like Yoni.....and watch you die, without mercy. He would rather watch his friend's murderer die the way he was suppose to be, without any mercy kill." he said.

Chris turned and walked back to his spot.

"ANd if you did kill Yoni, well done. You killed Yoni, not the Watchers. How can you live with that fact, killing an innocent......your just as bad as the Walkers, and you should go join them." he said.

"Enough," Gabrielle said, cutting across Chris' taunting. "You're a newcomer here, you weren't there in Milan, and that means you have no right to question any decision made by a trusted group member." She stared at Alex, wanting to make sure there wouldn't be any more surprises coming from him.

"Alex didn't kill Yoni! I did. I didn't stop anyone. I didn't want him to die. If we wanted to save him, one of us would have to die in his place." Sara shouted. She felt like the whole room was watching her, judging her. "Alex was covering for me." She said, quietly. Alex closed his eyes. Why, Sara? Why? I'd gotten him off of the subject and you lead him back! He thought, crossing his arms.

"Is that what you wanted? A woman breaking down about how she killed a man?" Alex said. "Lies protect people that you care about. Even in a shit-hole like this."

The little sheep follow what they are told and ordered usually die, those who stand up and ask the questions don't." he said.

Chris then turned to Alex.

"Lies dont protect people, they get you shot. I dont know the intelligence of the poeple here but out there, there are people who can tell liars from the truthful....and when they catch you lyin' BANG, you get shot no regrets. Because if a person is untrustworthy of one thing, they must be unreliable about all things." he said.

Chris then turned to Sara, with a more endearing face. He looked at her, she was defending Alex with lies but Chris had no further point in questioning her, because she told him what he wanted.

"Im so sorry, if it was that kind of deal then I can see why that choice was made. It must have been a burder on you and I do apologize for dragging it out of you, but you did tell me something I needed to know. I thank you for that." he said calmly to her.

He turned to Scott.

"what skills did Yoni have? What kind of person was he?" he asked him, since Scott was the leader of the group.
