WELCOME to the official Nomination Thread for the International Olympic Committee. Despite all the turbulence From now on, all nominations of cities to host either the Summer or Winter Games will be posted here, as well as information and notices or cancellations due to major wars.
Current Summer Olympics: 1912, Stockholm, V Olympiad
Current Winter Games: None
Next Summer Games: 1916, Mukden, VI Olympiad
Next Winter Games: 1918, Sapporo, I Olympiad
Games With Nomination Space: None
APPLICATION RULES
1. You may only put forth one city in your nation to be Olympic Host City.
2. Host cities should be nominated shortly after the previous Olympic Games.
3. The first 5 applicants will be sent into a special round.
4. The five applicants that have been forwarded to the special round will be voted upon by the nations of the world.
5. Once at least 10 nations have voted, the polls will be closed and the winners decided.
6. The city with the most votes wins and thus will host the next Olympics.
