I, for one, like social elements. They build more character dynamics than just having people fighting side-by-side, as well as doing it naturally.

I don't really know. I personally thought that the balance between fighting and social-element-ing was pretty good, actually.

The invasion of Hell really should have been longer.

Having a possible combat encounter where charming will actually do something, as opposed to whatever happened with this one. There was one post about it, then it was pretty much pointless. Making the encounter possible to be talked past, assuming nobody mentions how they are storming hell.

Thats just off the top of my (rather depressed and uncreative) mind.

I think a good way to space it out would be to simply switch back and forth between combat and non-combat. Have the intro as normal, then have a battle. Then, have the school recovering after that battle while allowing for more social interaction. Then, another battle. Just keep doing that until you get through the plot. It would make for some much better pacing.

Well, the dropping off of characters had more to do with a lack of direction, but there's not much Nightkill should do about it. That's really more up to the players to figure out ways for their characters to get involved. If you're not interacting with anyone, then make them interact with you.

Ivy was a bit left in the dust at the beginning, but that was probably because I didn't make that much of an effort to constantly keep up. Plus, she got involved by the time the demons attacked the school, and that was good enough for me.

Also, Met, maybe you should chill out a bit. You sound a little bit ticked.
