I know that we are down on population but nowhere did it say that I couldn't include colonial troops in the count.

Well I said Belgium only in the thread meaning its closed, but if you want to make your own threads declaring war on me you can. Besides I dont think the invasion would be internationally known yet.

I wasn't invading the French mainland and I have no intentions of doing so. Corsica, believe it or not, is culturally, linguistically and formerly part of Italy. And as Italian irredentism is at fever pitch in Italy at the moment (as it was IRL), it is only natural that such sentiments are conveyed. Who knows? Italy may simply sit back at watch half of Europe declare war on France.

Define "superpower". Italy isn't that easily stomped on and you haven't reckoned on what other European nations will do.
