Approved, though how much can the cross neutralize the artifacts? Also, I'll start the ic tonight.

Only as much as the owner is willing, essentially. It's a mental effect; if you know it's getting lessened and make a conscious effort to block it out of your mind, it won't affect you as much as if you just let that emptiness in the back of your mind consume you. Thus, Lucius usually attempts to masquerade as a ghost, in which the owners of the artifact would totally forgo the option that it's optional and begin to fear, where they would slowly give in to the temptation to just leave it all behind. It's only dangerous if you're weak willed and stupid.

Ok. But I'm sure even the strong willed will loose some power.

In other news I've decided on the leaders of the cult. Both Chrisis and Francesca. They'll be co-leaders. They have unique but complementary personalities that really encompase the Cult. I'll tg both of you with info. It'll be your choice whether or not you share what I tell you.

Name: Shadow Reaper

Appearance:

Allegiance:Cult

Personality: Emotionless, heartless, and self-caring.

Brief Bio: As a young boy while visiting Japan, he came across a pretty red stone, making the mistake of picking it up. This red-stone was the infamous Sessho-seki commonly called the killing stone. The stone usually killed any mortal that came across it but it felt a connection to the young boy. Tamamo-no-Mae the spirit residing inside the stone believed that the young boy greatly resembled her past lover. The spirit decided to spare the boy a painful death on the condition that the boy spend eternity with her, the frightened boy panicked. While attempting to flee he dropped the red stone causing his death, the spirit greatly sadden by the boys death made a deal with death itself to return the boy's spirit to his body. The condition that death made was that the boy would become a form of death in the role of a assassin. The spirit accepted this deal on the boy's behalf, without his consent the boy was once again granted life. Over the years the boy turned into a man that lost his innocence as his hands were constantly stained with the blood of his victims. The spirit mourns the boy's lost innocence but refuses to abounded the boy even allowing the stone to be broken into two pieces to form a set of twin daggers. Adopting the name Shadow Reaper, he kills just for the enjoyment of killing, currently killing for the Cult, a organization in great need of his skills.

Artifact: Sessho-seki twin daggers

Artifacts Powers: Grants the user the ability to communicate with spirits but not control them, ability to merge oneself with shadows, and to inflict a poison of darkness that corrupts and destroys the body. (I had a problem with thinking up of Artifacts powers, this might need to change or be added to).
