I am particularly interested in the Ottoman Empire's future. It possesses the Caucasus, Crimea, and the Ukraine, which Russia is/was historically interested in, the Holy Land, which the Sovereign Military Order of Malta is interested in, Western Iran and Kuwait, which the Afghans are interested in, and their African provinces, which I'm sure the Africans and colonials are interested in.

Going to be a very interesting RP, indeed.

I can't imagine there'd be too many religious tensions between the Catholic countries and the Ottomans, since by 1910 they'd have become a secular state. Still, I can easily foresee a big conflict over Greece (the Ottomans' only real interest in Europe since they gave up on European expansion in the 16th century).

If anything, though, the Ottomans would look to expand their holdings in Africa, which would provide some interesting interactions with the Spanish and the French. I guess you'd be interested in attacking me too, Fist, since the majority of the Iranian oilfields are situated on our border. Though I'm sure Afghan-Ottoman relations would have softened over the centuries since we conquered Mecca.

Reworked some colonial territories for various people, added in new nations, and filled in some unclaimed spots. Also added two NPC's, as it's unlikely either of them will be played by someone: the Swiss Confederacy and the Irish Free State.

Does anyone else see the starfish in southeast Asia, by the way?

I am so sorry; I have not been paying much attention to new people signing up so I assumed it was you with some map changes. I would have pointed it out to the map maker if I had known.

Besides that I do like my nation. Hopefully people are active in this rp when it occurs and this is not just another land grab thing we seem to have problems with.

Is everyone really that hardpressed about this sort of thing? How is it so unlikely for one nation to conquer a large tract of land that would be populated by Indians and Buffalo? Screw all of it, I'll just go with my Thai State.

Anyway, this nation is pretty much a Japan, adopted Western customs to survive and such. Fairly advanced and centralized, mighty fine Navy due to it's shorelines and Indonesian areas.

Don't worry about it, I'm throwing a temper tantrum over this myself. I already have a new nation, so it's no problem for me. You don't even have one because of the so called 'updated map'.

Anyways, I will be willing to give you your claim. I just needed Java and Bali, your claim will stand easily.

However, I know for a fact that you were here before Neo claimed his Argie Empire and the Australian person. Your entire claim should be upheld, actually. It's a real let down that Garwall didn't put it on his final map. Shows who he prefers, right?
